Use the 8 Plus or lower with those honking bezels. Bet you’d run to the Xr or 11 with open arms.
I have the 11, the bezel isn’t as bad as some are making it out to be.

Anyone? Probably for the same reason that consumers _don’t_ care about bezels. I mean, outside of a tech forum, answer honestly, how many consumers/people do you know that complain about the bezels on the iPhone? I doubt you know very many at all.

If you can't see them bezel you need to serious update your prescription and glasses! This is not to they matter and at what price point they would/could matter but to say they don't exist 4 days before 2020 is a matter of an overdose on the Kool-Aid.

At least the XR and 11 are uniform across the phone. Imagine having a large chin and a notch that doesn’t actually house any facial tech. I would know,we have a G7 Power in the house as a cheap replacement until one line is ready to upgrade.

Someone needs to learn to recognize sarcasm.
Of course he sees the “bezels” (if that’s what you wanna call those tiny things), his point being is that no one except a select few give a crap about them. Much like the notch, normal people don’t notice these things when using their phone and they just disappear into the background.

The iPhone 11 is only £100 more than the XR

In the Netherlands, in case anybody's interested (I would expect them to ship to every EU country without taxes) iPhone 11 256 GB costs €979, and iPhone XR *blue* (not sure why just blue…) 256 GB costs €699 at www.coolblue.nl – which is why I no longer own an Android phone and I bought a case that hides as much of the blue as possible.

Did I have sort-of-kind-of buyer's remorse over not having a double camera? Yes. Did I have €280 buyer's remorse? Hell no, I won't get this much for my Galaxy S9.

If I buy an iphone Xr now instead of the SE2 comming in March will I be disappointed with my purchase? The new SE2 will have the A13 chip instead of the XR's A12 so theres that. The SE2 is speculated to sell for $399 but I don't see that to be realistic although $449 is possible. They appear to have the same cameras The battery in the XR is bigger and so is the screen.. Asking for my Future Self.

I think in this scenario it comes down to what size screen do you want? Huge difference between the two and I bet a huge difference in battery life as well.
