As per the title?

I had a nice Gucci watch, about 30 years ago. Also had a few digitalis (Casio) during school. But I’ve never been a watch wearer.

How about you?

Tag, G-Shock, or Citizen Eco-Drive before the Fitbit. Fitbit before the Apple Watch.

Interesting question, and an ideal use of the Poll feature. Personally I never wore a watch of any kind before I got my Series-6. Ironically I almost never use the watch to check the time, rather it's a ready preview for notifications from my iPhone and a hands-free link to Siri.

Neither of those choices work for me. I’ve worn regular watches before but not always. I‘ve worn a watch then went years before going back to wearing a watch again for a while and then I quit again.

Wore a watch most of my life until my first iPhone (5) (maybe 40ish years) then never needed one until a couple of years ago, wanted to monitor my heart rate so got a 6 watch.

I used to carry a pocket watch as leather bands irritated my skin. I switched to the Apple Watch and it wasn’t terrible but still had a band problem. Long time ago I switched to the Black Milanese and love it. The metal mesh doesn’t irritate my skin and keeps my wrist dry.

I wasn’t a watch wearer prior to getting the Series 2, it didn’t last long and wasn’t till I got the series 4 that I wore it full time

I was in the Air Force in the late 1970s and it was almost a requirement that I knew accurate time or close to. I got in the habit to wear a watch. I never broke the habit of wearing a watch after that.

I’d had many watches before the Apple Watch but didn’t wear them everyday. I would get a new watch wear it everyday for a few months and then stop wearing it everyday.

Yep, parents got me my first watch when I was about 9. Still remember it, it was a Mask watch from the 80's Cartoon, since then its been most rugged outdoor watches like GShock or Casio's, I'm not into fancy watches really, I like something that can take a bit of beating

I was a watch wearer then I retired in 2008 and took off my watch. Swore I'd never wear another one. Then this funny thing happened, I got old!! Got concerned about my health and living alone and in Nov 2021 bought the new S7 to help monitor my health. Now I can't imagine not having one and wish I'd gotten an AW years ago.. So there really wasn't a category for me.

I’ve had watches before, had a nice minimal black one before I got a Pebble, and a couple variations of the Pebble after that. The Pebble Steel is still one of my favorite looking smartwatches.

A few different Apple Watches later, I’m now using the Ultra. I still go back to that first minimal black one depending on what I’m doing. It’s a reliable little thing.

Nope. Previous watches told the time. I rarely need that as it is ubiquitous on every other device out there. Don't need one for status or as a wrist ornament so no point in wearing one.

Apple Watch actually does useful stuff.

Dress watches occasionally in the past. I've worn my Apple Watch daily since Series 0.

Neither of these choices apply to me. I had stopped wearing watches for over ten years before I started wearing an Apple Watch.

Never worn a regular watch before. I had worn several kinds of smart bands, but neither of them could meet all my needs.
