Lot of the reviewers have incorrect information.. one said the display is 1.5x brighter in the sun (its 2.5x when the display is on the always on wrist down mode in the sun), another said its 2.5x brighter in general
They may have done it in OS7 even. Because now instead of pressing hard to see weekly and change goals, you scroll to the bottom of the rings pageI haven't seen anyone mention if they really did go ahead and eliminate Force Touch hardware? I know Watch OS 7 software eliminated it, but wasn't sure if it eliminated it everywhere or just in some places like iOS 13 for iPhones did.
I plan to get the Apple Watch 6 (AW6) to replace my AW4. However, I agree the update seems a little lackluster. I understand Apple being conservative with innovation but damn! There's a point where you can fall so far behind that the cost value benefit doesn't make sense.
AnyWho, I have a medical condition that benefits from such a device. Yes, even the blood 02 level thing'. I'm tempted to try the aluminum version this time around, but every time I try to save money, I end up shooting myself in the foot.
I saw an article that showed it was 2.5% brighter. Could anyone's eyes even detect that?Lot of the reviewers have incorrect information.. one said the display is 1.5x brighter in the sun (its 2.5x when the display is on the always on wrist down mode in the sun), another said its 2.5x brighter in general
I think the issue is the band, not the watch itself.Maybe not cheap, but they look Fisher-Price. I really like the Midnight Green color of the iPhone 11 Pro - too bad they didn't make an Apple Watch that color.
I don't know if the added health features do that much, but I'll say ability of an Apple Watch with Sugarmate to see reading with just a glance of my wrist, or a nudge from diabits if I'm trending low or high helps so, so much. No blazing white Dexcom screen to squint at from your phone in the middle of the night, less phone interaction/distraction, and the activity ring helps give me some motivation to get at least 30 min of movement in a day. All adds up to greater ability to check far more often, confidence you have things in control, overall better energy levels and a good a1c.after much dismissal of the apple watch, starting to consider it for use with my Dexcom G6. The added health features are rather enticing.
does the SS come with sapphire? that would suck for these paying the premium for ss and not get the sapphire glass

its weird that they omit it from the sales page. look through apple website and sapphire glass is not mentioned in spec.Yes, it does. If you pause the video of the guy with the Graphite Stainless, you can read it on the back of the Watch.

I ordered the Graphite Stainless Steel absentmindedly thinking that it was the same as the Space Black Stainless Steel that has been around since the original. Now, I’m a little concerned because nobody has ever seen this graphite in person and reviewers don’t seem to have been given this colour.
I really wanted the black but I also want the latest Apple Watch. So I’ve got my fingers crossed that the graphite looks good. 🤞🏼

Do you mean the new Solo Loop? If so, it comes in nine sizes so it's easy to build in whatever amount of looseness you want.No sport loop for me. It seems rather snug and I prefer a little looseness.

You can tell Ive isn’t around anymore. That blue and red is ugly as sin. My bet is it won’t make it to the series 7
There are a couple of reviews available now for graphite: DaringFireball, Forbes or PocketLint, to name a few.I ordered the Graphite Stainless Steel absentmindedly thinking that it was the same as the Space Black Stainless Steel that has been around since the original.
