Update:

I traded in my S0 for a S3 Nike + LTE.

My streak is still going however I lost over 100 days, I’m back in the 400’s. Bummer.

That makes no sense. The streak is not based on the watch, its based on your activity app on the phone. So the only way you lost the 100 days is if you restored your phone and the health app did restore from iCloud correctly.

Streaks continue if you change your watch, unpair your watch, restore your watch as new and so on. Once its registered on the phone (activity and health apps) then it remains.

I have had multiple S0 watches over the last 2.5 years (AC replacements) and now an S3 and my streaks are fine.

So what do you think it is? I didn’t restore or anything. But my streaks don’t add up. Says it ended on 9/19/17 but I clearly have my rings.

Looks to be a bug. Did you get the September perfect month award? If so, it might be resolved with a watchOS update. I had this problem back in watchOS 2 and when I got an update, it made things right again. It needed to be "triggered".

I did clear September’s perfect month as well. I have the latest WatchOS 4.0.1 installed, so not sure why it’s still off track. Maybe it will fix with the next update.

That is so bizarre. So its still keeping track, even though its not giving you the medal of "streak". Maybe 4.1 will fix it at the end of the month. Maybe its a bug in 4.0.1.

Well it still gives me the prompts like “keep it up, you got your streak yesterday, keep it going today”...and once I do clear my move ring I do receive the medal. It’s just the days that are not mathematically correct for my streak.

That’s definitely a reporting bug on your phone. What iOS version? If you are on 11.0.2, then tomorrow’s 11.0.3 might fix it. That’s so weird.

Unpair and repair the watch restoring for the latest backup that will be created when you unpair. The move streak will the trigger. I only lost one day but this worked for me.

Does anyone know how to set up a new watch, not restore from backup..and keep my move steak. It’s at 280 days...definitely don’t want to lose that but need to set up as new to solve the breathe reminders bug.

Here’s the thing, I was forced to do that when I got my Apple Watch S3 last week. I thought that would have remedied the issue but it didn’t. Maybe I’ll try it again this weekend to double check.
