Would that I had the power!
As for the apps not being updated, devs weren't even allowed to update for iOS 11 until the GM was released. And some apps broke and repaired repeatedly through the beta process, so you never know if your app will really work until that GM is out. Give the devs some time. It's a process.
In the meanwhile, you're not missing much in Watch OS 4.
Thank you. You knew I was kidding, right?
It is a quandary that we haven't really seen before. At least not to this degree.
Also see how developers are affected by incentives. The apps I am referencing mostly exist because someone built them for their own purposes, and essentially sell them on the side. The subscription service was a massive change from a $60 stand alone app that charged several times for upgrades (iCloud syncing, etc) and just went to a $130 per year deal that just isn't worth it.
I was mostly looking forward to the new heart rate features on Watch OS4. I will have to avoid a Myocardial Infarction until after suitable replacement apps are found, and I can finally upgrade my phone.

Heh...sarcasm is often difficult to distinguish on here (many will do a /S at the end of their post, just so it's clear)![]()
Yes, but we lived without emojis and such for millennia. I tend to dole them out sparingly, since there is an emoji shortage, caused by Apple enabling them pretty much everywhere.
We are running out, and it takes time to grow new ones...
