I’m going tonight to exchange it
That’s not going to fix your problem. It’s something with their servers.

not true always. I have a S4 without issue.
Just left the store with a different watch (Nike series 5). The Genius Bar is useless! They make you feel as if they are doing you a favor. I am so angry right now! How can someone not know what is going on?!?!? This is apple not some five and dime company. Oh and don’t mention macrumors to them as thru never have heard of the website and according to them holds no validity. Steaming right now.
I dunno. Seems to be an issue but maybe it’s fixed. I dunno. Does anyone have a s5 they can try the update with now?Maybe it is certain watches. My daughters new S4 updated from 6.0 to 6.01 just now without any issue. I don’t understand what’s happening here.
Really didn’t want to spend 900 dollars on something I will get rid of in a year. I’m fine with the aluminum. If the guts were different it would be a different story but for the casing alone it’s not worth 900Not fixed Have S5. Just tried.

@gbf, why did you switch from Titanium?
Wow you can’t even get 6.0. It’s them. Gotta be!I think they pulled 6.0.1 from the servers.
My S4 was on 5.3.1 and I haven’t updated it until today. It shows that 5.3.2 is the latest version.
We have 2 series 5 watches in the house. One was bought a couple of weeks ago and I was able to update to 6.0.1 with no issue at that time. Yesterday we bought another setup up as new and not able to get the 6.0.1 update then tried from backup and it went back to a pre 6.0.1 backup on the 25th........ both ways unable to update to 6.0.1. This looks like a quiet pull of the 6.0.1 from the servers.
My question is:I don’t think it’s a pull of the software because 6.0 isn’t available for a lot of people. It has to be a server issue.
It’ll be a pull... They’ve done the same with iPad Pro 2018 models on iOS 13.2 latest Beta ~ https://www.macrumors.com/2019/10/11/ipad-pro-ios-13-2-beta-2-update-unavailable/
Seems to be a widespread issue. Some people have suggested that it's caused by the recent release of watchOS 5.3.2 (which is supposed to be for people with iPhones that can't be updated to iOS 13). It seems that it's causing watches (even if they're paired with an iPhone on iOS 13.x) to think that watchOS 5.3.2 is the latest version. So even watches on watchOS 6.0 see 5.3.2 instead of 6.0.1 as the latest version and think there's no update. Plenty of people over at Reddit commenting about it too:
It looks like a server side issue that Apple's engineers will need to sort out and there's nothing you can do in the meantime to get around it.
Well if it is not available then it has been removed, it has been pulled. It’s not a pull for the last time. There is a difference between pulling beta software when it’s bricking iPads and pulling the next major release of a watchOS after going through the entire beta process. 6.0 isn’t downloadable either and they have not pulled WatchOS6.
Well if it is not available then it has been removed, it has been pulled.
Ok.... Is this concrete info as I have not read this anywhere? If correct, then going by what you are saying it should be back as soon as they get their servers sorted! No, it’s because their servers are screwed up because of the 5.3.2 release for watches where people are using older phones.
