I have a Series 3 on Watch OS 7 since yesterday. I've had this watch for years and I don't recall it ever crashing, at least as far as I know. Today upon getting home after running some errands, I happened to glance at my watch the saw the Apple logo like it was in the boot process. I'm guessing it crashed. I wasn't doing anything too out of the ordinary with it, I did have my phone paired with the bluetooth in my car, and I used the watch to skip tracks. Wondering if anybody else is experiencing crashes on Watch OS 7.

I had this same problem with the last two betas. I haven’t seen it with the GM release. I am using my series 3 while I wait for the series 6 to get delivered.

Apple is aware of the problem but, go ahead a file as report just the same.

nah it works faster so the crashes may get a fix. if os7 stays this way ill keep the watch 2 more years. heck ill keep it as long as the battery works. ill grab someones watch5 to compare speeds in a week. I dont need the new bells and whistles. even ios14 sucks. my phones get hot and burn through battery. rushed OS

Yup I've had the same issue. It always chose to restart right before starting my biking workout, so it was annoying waiting in the car for a minute or two while the watch finished doing its thing.

It usually happened after connecting my Bluetooth headphones to my phone, which has me thinking it has something to do with connecting or disconnecting from a Bluetooth device.

Alright looks like it’s a fairly common issue, I guess let’s report it and hope they fix it soon.

Hopefully when they roll out a fix for the crashing they will also have a fix for the storage space issue so we won't have to set the watch up as a new watch all over again. What a luxury to just be able to download and install an update without having to jump through a bunch of hoops for it.

This is happening with my and my wife’s Series 3 too. Hope they have a quick fix in the pipeline.

I have Series 6 SS for two days and had 4 reboots already. I do not know if this is my new watch or WatchOS7. The worst thing I had reboots while cycling and lost my heart rate and data. I'm going to return my watch.

I had this reboots mainly in betas. I thought its related somehow to BT in my car, but I had also reboot right before running race :).
But since final watchOS 7 release I didn't have any reboot.

I also seem to think it's something about the car, didn't use the car for a couple of days and didn't notice a reboot. Used the car and got a reboot. Odd thing is that watch is not connected to the car but the phone is. Hmmmmmm....

I had another crash yesterday, and again it was right after I had gotten home from running errands, meaning my phone had just been disconnected from the bluetooth in my car. Wonder if that is a factor. For me, it's 2 for 2 observed crashes upon arriving home, after having been connected to the car's bluetooth.

Yes I am having the same problem with mine. I have done a hard reboot and it has not fixed the problem.

Same issue here. Restored phone as new and deleted all health data (for a separate issue with V02 Max not calculating) and then set up the watch. Same issue. Restarts when connected to my Bluetooth HR monitor. When it’s not connected the watch is fine.

More thank likely it is a OS bug problem. Report it to Apple.
I did. I keep the watch 10 more days, if no solution have to return since I'm not 100% sure that it is OS problem. I really do not want to pay premium price for not properly working device.

I can understand that. If my new watch was rebooting a lot, I would be frustrated as ell as contemplating a return. The problem seems to be limited in scope and frequency, from what I have seen on this microcosm forum and some on reddit.

My series 4 is rebooting after being on for three seconds, continuously.

Only seeing people with series 3 having issues.
