38mm SS LB, ordered 4/12, midday, Chicago:
aaand ... DELIVERED! Just now. Haven't opened it yet. Will post a pic or two later.

38mm SS BMB, ordered 4/12, midday, Chicago:
still "processing items"

Ok so finally it looks like we are into the last part of the first preorder weekend. Anyone else have outstanding preorders from before 4/12?

Well there goes that theory. Guess they're still not through day 1 preorders:(

We are probably gonna get it either by the end of this week or at the beginning of next week.. Not too many options there.. Well a delay could be possible but I hope not

PFS yesterday, now says Shipped, just got my tracking number for my 38mm SS SB link to be delivered tomorrow :)

My order for a 42 SS link band only just went to PFS, ordered it on May 1st.

Still waiting for my 42mm SS Watch w/ bsb ordered on April 24th... probably gonna have the link band for a whole month before I get the actual watch...

I probably should have taken off the initial protective plastic it came in.. LOL.
Pre turned on, just out of the box.

:( 42MM SS link ordered 4/11 delivers 6/22-6/29 I am praying I get it first week of June at least :( tired of waiting and seeing those beautiful link watches that people are opening :(

I was amazed by a lot but two things stuck out.

It's COMFORTABLE! Once adjusted to having something on my wrist I don't notice it!

It does NOT pull my arm hair!! (I was worried about this, my last watch I stopped wearing it because it was electrolysising my arm 1 hair at a time.

Than and it's just AWESOME!

Thanks Apple...

After waiting for what seemed to be forever and along the way jumping several hurdles that tried to keep from obtaining an :apple:watch I finally received my 42SS LB today only to find that Apple shipped me a damaged one.

Their response... Send it back to us and jump in que again for a replacement while we hold onto your $1,100.

Thanks
Apple

Sorry to hear about that.

What was wrong with it?

I want for the :apple:Watch Basic workshop last night in Manhattan. The trainer said the Genius Bar is expediting all :apple:Watch issues, even letting the :apple:Watch customers jump the queue. The woman in the workshop with me (what a pill - reminded me of some the naysayers on forum in the dark days) was having issues with her watch and they put her right into the Genius Bar and told her the diagnostic would take about an hour.

All that for the simple statement of take it to the nearest Apple Store, they seem to be bending over backward for the :apple:Watch buyers.

There it is

38mm SS LB, ordered 4/12, midday, Chicago:
Delivered 5/20 9:45am

38mm SS BMB, ordered 4/12, midday, Chicago:
Charged and moved to PFS overnight (The wife's BMB, exactly 2 days behind my LB, ordered at the same time)

Also, by coincidence, the accessory Sport Band (black) I ordered on 5/17 also arrived yesterday, by different carrier, from a different distribution point. Everything is coming together.

38mm SS LB, ordered 4/12, arrived yesterday.

Seems plenty big on my bony 160mm wrist. Had to double check that they hadn't mistakenly sent a 42mm. Only one removable link left on each end.

I also have a sports band, and it pulls at the hairs on my wrist more than this one does, but only until I have things positioned right. Then it's comfortable all day long, either band.

Biggest ergonomic issue so far: sleeve management.

Well I'm checking out now. Watch arrived today. I'm happy, turns out these are shipping faster than the sports space grey. So hang in and it will eventually arrive. Off to play with my watch :)
