Unfortunately, we don't matter the most on their revenue charts at the end, because there are fewer of us buying the most expensive SS models.

That's what confuses me about this whole thing. Compared to the total watch sales the SSLB watches have to account for a very small percentage so why not knock them out sooner than later? At least those who chose to spend more will feel like they got something out of it but instead they make you feel stupid for waiting while everyone else has their watch and can easily order the band by itself. Strange strategy but here I am begging Apple to take my money.

It's official it's now May12th, can I start complaining or do I wait until the 25th ?

Im going to continue being patient but can't understand why Apple can't connect a Link Bracelet to a 42mm SS Apple Watch and send it to me, It's very simple to do, just press one button and slide it on the watch, then post it to me :)

I'm pretty sure if you go chat with Apple Rep or call Apple .. they would still give you clueless guesses and fake assurances that you still within a 2 week window of delivery anytime and shall know when it happens !! Typical of any customer care(less)

I just online chatted (and did a few times last week) with multiple reps and I keep getting the above. Today I asked about why the link band only orders are shipping out and the SS watches are shipping out, so why are our combo orders NOT shipping if it is obvious they have the supplies. And their reply continues to be.......blah blah blah, "we are still in the shipping window,,,blah blah blah and that I am lucky to be in the early round vs June/July". I guess this is all true but there seems to be no explaination (or at least non that the help desks can give us) why there is still NO movement on any of our orders.

Still trying to stay positive............

sad to have to say, but you probably have more knowledge about it than they do. waste of time really

and to rub salts to our insult (if may put it mildly like this :p) each apple rep I've chatted with since April 20th or so .. they all have said this to me .. "I've also ordered the same watch or a model that I'm suppose to get in June/July.. I can understand your situation and frustration but believe us.. we are doing the best we can and even I can't hold my excitement ! .. you are in a better situation than me !! " Like I care .. you guys are getting it for 50% already so why rant ??

Ok, I'm anxious.

You know for the top of the line watch in a 'luxury watch' line you'd think this would be the first one ready.

I completely understand it's self entitled and whiny of me to complain about not getting my watch yet, but holy hell Apple. I'm somewhat annoyed at this point, it really sucks we don't have our watches. We will obviously eventually get them, I get that. But for goodness sake, they should have something to ship out by now if link bands on their own are an indication of the supply they have. I didn't mind the band's by themselves arrived earlier than the combination of both, but wtf? You have them made by now and still nothing?
Sorry I'm being a little dramatic, just need to rant a tad. We could still be charged later today and everything would be alright, it's just frustrating as hell to think we still have to wait two more weeks. And even then, what if they go past their 27th delivery day estimate? As guess we'll see.

The biggest disappointment to me is that this was announced in September. Pre-Pre-order annouced 2 weeks before Pre-order, and pre order 2 weeks before 1st round shipment.
How long does it take to make these things that they dont have production ramped yet?

If that kind of customer "treatment" would have been done by another company than apple, they would be kind of dead!

But treated by apple this way: bootlicking all the way instead of mass cancellation of orders ( me too :( )

Watch with Stainless Steel Link Bracelet Orders

Let's just wait until today ends. Lots of people saw movement this morning (ok not for SS LB) but it is a good indication as to when status changes since those people were all in the 13-27 May window.

My thoughts too. And, since most watches have had a one-day turnaround, if we get charged and shipped tomorrow our watches should still be delivered on the 13th.

In the meantime, we're just chillin'...

I recommend anyone angry with Apple simply cancel their Apple Watch orders. Apple is a publicly traded company who at the end of the day, cares about one thing. That one thing isn't how many angry forum posts there are, how many people get grumpy with customer service, or anything in between. It's how many units are sold. If you want to make a difference, vote with your wallet.

Otherwise, just settle down. Apple hasn't missed anyone's shipping window yet.

Seriously? We have every right to be pissed. Does this mean we don't want the watch? No, we wouldn't be pissed otherwise. A canceled order would be a lame and unheard protest. And most Apple Fans wouldn't cancel.

Your comment does not help in the slightest.

Even if we go ahead and cancel .. 1 cancel, 2 cancel .. all cancel .. if 1 adds to the revenue charts .. then 1 subtracts too .. but this doesn't help Apple or us !! we are not at fault .. it's Apple !

Cancelling just gives the watch to someone else in line. If you want to stick it to apple then you should take delivery, wear it for a few days, and then return it. That way they can't get full price for it again and can only use it for warranty exchange.

Heh. You guys don't get it. He just wants you to cancel so he moves up. :)

(I kinda wouldn't mind that too, but I ordered a SB SSLB, so just the SSLB folks cancelling wouldn't help me much) :)

Just read in another thread:

Oh wait... They're a multibillion dollar company thats been in this business for a very long time. Ops.. It's easy to get them confused with new start up companies.

Did Apple not deliver a product to you in the timeframe they told you?

Or are you just being cranky and impatient?
