Any ideas please it pairs but won't activate it was on os2 but just been to Apple repairs so I presume they will have put 1.01 on it
….if you show up at the store with a watch running beta, they WILL give you a hard time.
Trust me, even if you have a Public Beta they will give you a hard time. They treated me with the disdain of a jailbreaker because I dared to use the Public Beta. That's because there are too many non-developers who choose to install wOS2 beta when it's not even a public beta. If you want to be a guinea pig, then accept whatever risk it involves, including having to ship it out to get it flashed back to wOS1.

They gave me a hard time with the iOS 8 beta. No way would I take a chance on the watch.wOS2 beta isn't a public beta. Or did you mean they gave you a hard time about iOS9 beta, which is a public beta?

TheYes it pairs but then it won't activate it just hangs there I enter my email and password as it says it's linked with my apple account,I think I'm going to have to update my ip6 back to iOS 9 as it was swapped out and back on 8.4.1

TheWatch might have wOS2 on it because it sounds like it might be Activation Lock. If so you must have iOS9 to use.

Almost certainly you are correct. It would be useless if you could just revert to wOS1.1 to bypass Activation Lock.Maybe activation lock persists even though the watch is back on wOS 1. I think that's how activation locks work.
I have a ss watch coming tomorrow so I wanted to put this to factory for reselling but don't want it to be locked for a potential buyer
If it's Activation Lock it will be a brick without restoring to wOS 2 and using Activation lock to unlock. If you think it's been flashed back to wOS1, try erasing all content and settings by first connecting the AW to its magnetic charging cable and holding the side button until you see the Power Off slider, then force press it to get "Erase all content and settings."

So upgrade iPhone back to ios9
Then remove activation lock from watch is that about right
Thanks guys for your help it's much appreciated
Is the lock in iTunes or is it actually on the watch itself how do I go about removing it ?
Sorry I don't understand so how do I remove activation lock from the phone ?The watch is completely independent of iTunes, it's the phone.
