Can't say for sure until closer to the time, but I've just tried it in VLC and it shows the following

My trusty WRT54G router died when a storm knocked out our power.

So I cant get Wifi on my iPad till amazon delivers my new router today.

But I think the Event will be before I can setup the Wifi in my house, so I will probably watch using this VLC method instead of streaming from my iPad.

WRT54G? That doesn't even have the Wi-Fi n speed.

Ive been using G and its been capable of max speeds that Comcast has with our service.

But my new router will have wireless N capability.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest cos pretty much own everything apple......but this is a stupid thing for apple to do really......what if there are millions of customers on the edge whether to finally get an apple product and they wanna watch the conference......they could be losing out big time!

Get a wireless AC router. The iPhone 6 has AC wireless.

Nope it will not stream from that page when the event goes live unless your on a Mac / Safari.


You will have to try the VLC stream link trick instead.


The countdown clock always works but there will be no stream on that page if your on windows.
