I installed beta 3 without needing to install a new profile. Installation proceeded without any issues and watch is up an running fine.
You didn´t install the new watch Profile ?

I don't understand what people mean by this. Apart from crap battery on Beta 1, I've had no issues with Watch OS 2 betas.
Gonna hold off on this one until I hear more from people that install it. My Apple Watch was basically useless on Beta 2. Countless erases did not fix it. It was laggy, battery life was terrible, Siri never worked, etc.
I forgot to mention I'm on 1.0.1. I like to run beta software but wouldn't wanna deal with too many bugs. I'm just now putting iOS 9 beta 3 on my phone, although I had beta 2 on my iPad Air.5 minutes until it finishes downloading to watch then installs. At this point I will go with beta 3 right now since battery life has been horrible for me with beta 2.
Beta 2 on my 6 Plus was not too bad but it was laggy and had quite a few bugs but it was workable. On the watch though, I had to put it on airplane mode so I could make it to the gym after work and have my workout logged. Hoping beta 3 is better.I forgot to mention I'm on 1.0.1. So finally got the OTA to work. And now its stuck saying 13 seconds left. Ugh
So this is great...I installed IOS9 B3 after restart my watch was no longer paired. I d/l installed the only Watch OS2 profile I can find (Watch OS2 Beta 2), tried to pair my Watch, all good until verification of my AppleID at which point I'm told "Verification Failed - there was a problem connecting to the server". I don't have 2factor enabled on my ID. I've signed out and in to to my AppleID so many times I can navigate the settings pages without even looking at the screen. I've removed and re-added the Watch Profile over and over, any ideas?
Nope. Older profile worked just fine for me.For the record, do we need to install new configuration profile for Beta 3 to get the OTA for watchOS?
Nope. Older profile worked just fine for me.
That's actually the same one I installed as well.Thanks. I did have to reinstall the profile (although just the one from beta 2), and then I finally got the OTA update. I suspect the profile or something got unlinked when I updated my phone to iOS 9 beta 3.
Just bricked my watch, the update must have downloaded funny :/ kill me now
How did it get bricked?same here. bricked with red exclamation point. had a chat with apple, they are sending me an advanced replacement which takes 2-3 days (they put a credit card hold for the value) and i then return my bricked watch to them. simple process
