I don't understand what people mean by this. Apart from crap battery on Beta 1, I've had no issues with Watch OS 2 betas.

Battery I can live with because of beta. Only I got disconnects, reboots, freezes, not working stock apps, no weather and so on.

I am on Beta 3 now, testing it tomorrow (it's 22:08 here) if it's better than 2

Saw the update for Beta 3 with OTA, then it disappeared. Restarted watch, restarted iPhone, and I'm just stuck on Checking for updates.

How do I install this when I am on 1.01? Just got my watch so I was just wondering.

Gonna hold off on this one until I hear more from people that install it. My Apple Watch was basically useless on Beta 2. Countless erases did not fix it. It was laggy, battery life was terrible, Siri never worked, etc.

After a hour or so I got a message displayed that said that Activation Lock was now automatically enabled.

i had the same issues as you o beta 2 and updated to beta 3, all apps seem to work as intended and siri works

So, verdict on beta 3 performance? As someone that often runs beta software, is it still too much hassle? I say this as someone still running 1.0.1.

5 minutes until it finishes downloading to watch then installs. At this point I will go with beta 3 right now since battery life has been horrible for me with beta 2.

I forgot to mention I'm on 1.0.1. I like to run beta software but wouldn't wanna deal with too many bugs. I'm just now putting iOS 9 beta 3 on my phone, although I had beta 2 on my iPad Air.

Beta 2 on my 6 Plus was not too bad but it was laggy and had quite a few bugs but it was workable. On the watch though, I had to put it on airplane mode so I could make it to the gym after work and have my workout logged. Hoping beta 3 is better.

Installing now...

For those that are having problem, check your Watch app, under General - Profile. Make sure a profile (even from Beta 2) is there. If not, reinstall one.

So this is great...I installed IOS9 B3 after restart my watch was no longer paired. I d/l installed the only Watch OS2 profile I can find (Watch OS2 Beta 2), tried to pair my Watch, all good until verification of my AppleID at which point I'm told "Verification Failed - there was a problem connecting to the server". I don't have 2factor enabled on my ID. I've signed out and in to to my AppleID so many times I can navigate the settings pages without even looking at the screen. I've removed and re-added the Watch Profile over and over, any ideas?

Got the same issue.. did you find solution?

I've had Beta 3 on approximately 3 hours now. Battery is at 85%. Apps and overall performance much improved.

One random reboot? Went to look at my watch and apple logo was up.

Weather current location loads better than before but still a little glitchy

Nope. Older profile worked just fine for me.

Thanks. I did have to reinstall the profile (although just the one from beta 2), and then I finally got the OTA update. I suspect the profile or something got unlinked when I updated my phone to iOS 9 beta 3.

Just bricked my watch, the update must have downloaded funny :/ kill me now

same here. bricked with red exclamation point. had a chat with apple, they are sending me an advanced replacement which takes 2-3 days (they put a credit card hold for the value) and i then return my bricked watch to them. simple process
