This has been the quirkiest update for me. I get it to download and then stops. Downloads, stops. Then Finished downloading and gets stuck on Preparing. Uninstalled profiles, reinstalled. Connected, reconnected, restarted each. Ugh! Starting to hate the no cable option.

EDIT: Got passed preparing. Now it says its paused because it needs to be on the charger. Well I have it on the charger and its not recognizing that!

Gonna hold off on this one until I hear more from people that install it. My Apple Watch was basically useless on Beta 2. Countless erases did not fix it. It was laggy, battery life was terrible, Siri never worked, etc.

So far so good for me. Beta 2 made my watch useless as well. Constant freezing and reeboots and red explanation points and Apple logos. So far beta 3 has fixed it and is running very smooth. Battery is kinda draining fast though. At least I have my watch back in working order! And I felt a Taptic feedback for the first time in weeks!!

same here. bricked with red exclamation point. had a chat with apple, they are sending me an advanced replacement which takes 2-3 days (they put a credit card hold for the value) and i then return my bricked watch to them. simple process

I got the red exclamation point 3 times while on beta 2. Holding the two buttons down for 10 seconds while watch was on the charger did the trick for me.

Finally! After hours of fiddling I finally got it updated! Install had me worried the whole time, "Don't brick, don't brick...."

I got stuck on the install. Tried unpairing and now it's says "there was a problem connecting with the server" when I try to sign in with my apple id... Sigh.

Any suggestions?

Getting the same message from the same scenario. :(

Some calendar events are not shown on the watch but are shown on the iPhone I tried to see if there was a setting to show only specific calendar on Apple Watch but I didn't find.. I was able to make the event show up by changing it's category (color). But thats not a real fix

(I believe this is a recurring problème since beta 2 maybe even beta 1, I reported it but the fact that it still hasnt been fixed worries me)

I can't even see the update in the app... Has this been taken down?! It keeps saying I'm not connected to the internet.

I can't see it either. Just says I'm on the latest version of watch os 2.0 even though I know I'm not. So weird.

I just finished the update lol. Its so much snappier then the second beta. I had to restart my phone and watch. Give it a try!

Still nothing for me. I really don't know what to do as I cannot get this update to come through.

Check if you still have profile, I realized after a few hours that I didn't have the profile anymore.

If you have the profile, there must be a "Profile" section in Apple Watch > General settings, otherwise you don't have the profile anymore.

+1 Even the install was much faster then beta 1 & 2. In addition the force touch function responds faster when editing complications and clearing notifications...

Agreed. Haven't had time to test out the battery but the performance is great. I cannot remember my Watch ever going to the home as fast as it does now.

+1 make sure when you restart both that the watch is already on the charger and that you didnt leave the apple watch app open on the iphone. That exactly what I did.

My Watch was trolling me for a while - 'Enter the password on the Watch' I take it off the charger because the password can't be entered on nightstand. 'The watch must be on the charger, install paused.' 'Enter password on Watch'...

wow finally a great beta update. Beta 2 was very bad. Battery life is amazing so far, have been wearing my watch for more than 3 hours and it's at 92%. Native apps and third party apps load faster.

You get yours working?

Yep, solution sourced from here.

Turn off iMessage on iphone before pairing the Watch. Pair Watch, accept terms, hit skip on signing into icloud account. Now you can pair and sync the watch. After it's all set back up correctly you can turn back on iMessage on iphone, then go into Watch ap and you can sign into the icloud account without any issues. This is how I got my watch to pair and set up.

At what point in the updating process should these steps be followed?
