I'm receiving messages but when going into the thread the messages don't show up. Anyone else having this issue?

It seems like my Exercise minutes are way up over 1.0.1 compared to a normal work day. Just a random observation.

I thought 2.0 was adding it so we can use Watch speaker for music? or am I mistaken? I know its not the best quality but would be cool.

If you have music synced to the watch, go into the music app and pull the screen down, you can choose whether it plays through your phone or your watch

Yeah I did that but when I go to play it asks me to connect my wireless headphones >.>

Thats odd, I haven't worked out at all today, this was just from normal daily activity. Tomorrow morning when I go running i'll have to see if it logs extra minutes or not.

I wonder if mine is the result of re-pairing it this morning because of battery life issues. Maybe it's recalibrating.

Well mine is reading extra too it seems, and I didn't re-pair it with my phone since I wasn't having battery or other issues like others were having.

Any known fix to get dictation working again? When trying to dictate text for a text message, it won't dictate.

It is working for me.

1) upgrade iPhone
2) upgrade watch
3) unpair watch
4) restore watch from backup

I have usual battery life, and Siri works as normal. Note, I did not do any betas (I am done with betas, GM's only as I have found that you need to restore to before betas, or all kinds of weird things happen).

Just tried that still doesn't work. Going to about shows how much space is left and how many photos etc but usage screen says it can't connect to my watch. Hmmmmm

Well it's started doing it again and not showing any details. The watch is connected ffs

Anyone know how to get watchOS 2 to display calories again. I've tried a whole variety of region setting combinations but it only ever displays kilojoules?

I'm assuming that you're in Australia? Change the region to another country like the UK where they use calories and metrics.

I had same issue and I did a simple restart by shutting watch off and restarting. Resolved the problem for me.

Have the Watch OS2 Gm installed. How do you turn on Activation Lock? Im not seeing any options in the phone app or the settings on the watch.

Happened to me too - I cut and paste this fix from somewhere into my bugs spreadsheet. (yes I have one):

screen and force press on that you can select km or miles as required. Launch the Workout app, tap one of the workout type buttons (e.g. Outdoor Walk) and the first screen that comes up is "Set Calories" with a 0 above it. Force pressing there does nothing, but if you swipe R to L until you reach the Set <distance> screen and force press on that you can select km or miles as required.

Battery seems fine for me - so far I've logged 7h 41 of standby, 1h 41m of usage and my battery is at 72%

I've noticed more exercise minutes since putting 2.0 on, but for me it makes it more accurate: I used to have real problems getting exercise logged: For example, an hour of intensive 5 a side football or squash would previously log 20-25 minutes of exercise (setting it as indoor run)

Edit to add: I've just checked and it looks like the heart rate monitor is reading more often than before: It's not exactly every 10 minutes but it's close to that and that includes when I've been moving around
