Having a very strange problem with mine. My usage screen constantly says can't connect to watch and I can't sync any music. Unpaired and repaired from backup and it works until I put the watch on charge. Then I set it up as new and same again. Working fine then stops after being charged. Hopefully it works better when I pair it to my 6s in a couple of weeks.

Anyone else have this issue. When running OS 1 and OS 2 Beta 1-5 my watch battery life was great could get two full days of moderate usage.. Since installing the GM version I get maybe 5 hours of No Usage and 3-4 1/2 hours of Moderate usage.

So for something that's GM supposed to be released in less then a week this is horrible.

Same as what I mention on the other thread. If you have horrible battery I bet the problem isn't the GM but something else and most likely if you have already cold booted and didn't fix and don't want to re-pair, check the usage on the Watch App on the iPhone and I bet it is very high even though you haven't used it... Something is causing the watch to communicate with the iPhone constantly and it is probably a third party app.

My GM is actually better than 1.0.1 and beta 5. I wake from 7-8 hours of sleep with the watch on and fully charged showing 95%. With no usage, I am burning about 1-2% per hour during the day.

I had the same issue. I thought I had forgot to charge my watch but I realized it was the update. Unpairing and repairing seems to have resolved that issue, but only time will tell. ;)

I had a bad battery issue as well the I just did a cold boot (hold both side buttons until the watch restarts) and it fixed the battery issue for me. I did not have to repair my watch for it to work.

Anyone noticed big changes with calorie calculation in the workout app with OS2 GM? On OS1 i would do (for example) 20 minutes fairly high intensity on the cross trainer and get active calories of about 150-200, on OS2 i get 90-100 at best. This is quite annoying, but maybe is more accurate - i don't really know. I also noticed on OS2 just walking about during the day seems to count a lot towards my exercise goal, whereas on OS1 it rarely registered more than 1 or 2 minutes. Now its more like 10-15 minutes.

As a side note, anyone upgrading to GM please learn from my mistake. I did not realise all health data is only backed up if you use encrypted backup in iTunes. After restoring to iOS9 and the most recent backup i lost all my health data & achievements, including filling all rings every single day since launch :(

My battery life is not good under watch OS2 GM, it's lasting about 50% of the usual drain time, about 12 hours for me :(

For anyone running the WatchOS 2 GM, is it buggy? I've held off on updating my watch because I heard it was crashing in the middle of workouts.......
it's screwed up my battery life . . . mine is draining in about 12 hours when it lasted over 24 before

battery life on GM is horrible. barely can make it through the day anymore. Twice i've looked at my watch only to see that its dead.

Crap, your right. ;) Well, does anyone have problems with the activity app crashing during a workout? That is really my main concern.
Nope. Works perfectly and responsive to force touch and end. The previous beta 5 had a little problem trying to end the workout but now that is flawless. Battery is insanely good. 78% at 5:30pm with an hour workout and all day usage though with me, it is Siri 98% of the time.

when do you folks think Watch 2 comes out.. I want to buy one but not sure if i should wait

A minimum of at least 1 year from now. They haven't even finished rolling the first watch to all the countries. I would expect fall 2016 for the earliest, but probably not till spring or fall 2017. And probably will be Apple Watch S and not Apple Watch 2.

I think I will buy one this week any benefit to waiting to buy one with os 2 installed or does it not matter?

Very buggy. Notifications work when they want to. Took a few resets and had to refresh the watch as well because it was also sluggish. I'd hold off.
Yes sometimes I am out walking and find that notifications are going to my iPhone and not my watch, frustrating when they are perfectly connected . . .

Unpaired and paired my Apple Watch and charged it till 100%, this was at 2:10 PM CET (living in the Netherlands), it's 10:34 PM CET and the AW is at 78%.

So only 22% in 8 hours, i'm happy again.

The unpairing and pairing did the trick.
If you unpair and repair does it not erase/reset all the data/settings/health stats?

I don't know. Maybe if you read the thread before you posted you might find someone with the same issue.
