Anybody able to upgrade to watchOS 2 Beta 2? I just keep getting connection errors, even though I've downloaded the Beta 2 software

Get the same thing here. Get a can't connect to the internet to verify error. I'm still on iOS 9 beta 1 if that matters.

I'm looking at this - and the "configuration profile" is the same one from a couple of weeks ago... I'm thinking we shouldn't re-apply that same config file... (it's dated 6/7)

After a few connection errors - now I'm seeing my watchos version as "up to date", but I can see the latest build isn't on there...

Thanks to batting1000 for general template.

Post any bugs, new features, or changes in iOS 9 beta 2 that you notice compared to iOS 8.3 or 8.4 betas, as well as iOS 9.0 beta 1. This is a wikipost, so anyone can edit in their findings.

As always, be sure to report any and all bugs to bugreport.apple.com (a developer account is not required to do this)

Previous thead: beta 1

Build: 13A4280e

Issues:

  • Music app does not show My Music tab. Release Notes say that but so far it's not true
  • You may see a Black screen when trying to add Google or Yahoo accounts
  • Many people are not seeing OTA updates yet. (Rebooting devise fixes this) Showed up at 1:30 EST
  • Tapping a Mail message, Maps favorites, Note, or Message in search results does not open the app on some devices
  • iPhone 6 on beta 2 cannot update watch to watchOS2. Keeps getting not connected to internet message

I guess if you guys are using iphone 6 that explains your problem

According to multiple Twitter users, Apple have pulled watchOS Beta 2. I'm getting the "software is up to date" message too

Mine updated OK no issues. My iPhone was still on beta 1 when it showed up. Says I am on version 13S5255c

I have 12 minutes left on my download.

Edit: the update got pulled.. no Beta 2 for me :(

Not showing up for me either. Updated fine to 9 Beta 2, has shown "up to date" since release. I'm on a 6 Plus.

Rumours are that they pulled it due to releasing it everyone, regardless of developer status. Major **** up if true.

Pretty pissed off that it's been pulled today because battery life has been a big issue over the last few weeks as well as a few irritating bugs that I've reported so was hoping I'd see all these fixed today.

I got in installed in time before the pull and it seems to be much better then beta 1. Less crashes, notifications seem to be consistent, not as slow, apps actually load now. Feels very much like WatchOS 1. Battery life seems pretty on par, but too early to tell.

Aren't you just on edge half-expecting your Watch to explode?

My Watch's battery isn't as good as it was under 1.0.1, but its not horrible. I take it off after 16 hours or so and it still has 20% of battery left. However, the amount of bugs is really high. Siri rarely works anymore regardless of how I suspended her. That is ridiculous, but its a dev beta so to be expected. I just wish there was a way to downgrade the Watches. The only home is to wait until it the beta gets better.
