I'm on 26.4 and still have issues with audio alerts. Let's just say (to be nice) it's not making me happy. So frustrated with every platform using this disastrous 26.yada.
Oh man. Really sorry to hear that. What is the problem you are having?

26.4 fixed the issue for me. I have the OG Ultra but do not have cellular connected.

The only issue I've had was alerts completely stopped on one of my runs but that was after a bunch of notifications and it was resolved the next time without a restart.

I hit outdoor walk and then went for a run. I had it set to give audio metrics every .10 miles so after mile 3 it stopped.

Here is the Apple thread about the issue:

Still have an annoying bug introduced in 26.4 where I can swipe down my notifications and the clear all button is completely unresponsive. If I close the notification screen and bring it back down again, the button works again.

This is still an issue in 26.5 RC on my Ultra 3.
Me too!

Great news! Have this SMS/iMessage issue as well! But there‘s one bug that annoys me way more: when away from iPhone, the GPS position isn‘t taken from the watch, but still from the iPhone. This should be fixed asap!

Finally the SMS/iMessage will be solved, I wondered for a long time what was wrong... But the unresponsiveness of notifications should be resolved asap too! It's too bad the Watch has so many UI/UX bugs for such a mature product

These updates always fix bugs which I’ve never experienced, and never fix the ones that annoy me daily. I assume that’s the case for everyone else too, lol!

Fixes an issue where Messages on Apple Watch may use SMS instead of iMessage when paired with a dual SIM iPhone

I must be dreaming…
this right here is enough to me to finally abandon my beloved iOS 18 for as I need to go dual sim for work soon.
