Auto activity recognition doesn't seem to be working right.

So far walked about 22,000 steps each Sat for the past 3 weeks, each walk over 1 hour (inside and outside). Detected one 30 min walk.

Next beta then :)

Found that I could not update Watch from beta 5 to beta 6 - got errors regarding no internet.
Then removed beta 5 profile and tried to reload - Install grayed out.
Totally reset Watch and set up as new watch - no change, cannot install beta 5 profile.
Any ideas out there - please?

I had the error no internet last night and this morning and today I was on 4g and tried to check it and it found the update.

My Nike+ workouts aren’t logging to Activity correctly. The Activity app correctly shows that I walked 1.3 miles in 30 min 54 sec, yet I only got 11 minutes of exercise credit.

Did anyone else’s August activity challenge reset to 0?
No, but I can't see this challange at all in Activity app, but it exists, because I recieved notification to the Watch this morning, that I need to do more 38 exercises. And it was already on beta 6.

Alright so I just got this notification on my watch:

But my iPhone still says 0:

Still can’t get the latest beta. Reinstalled the profile several times

There are many improvements in Watch OS5. But they have not made a dent in the biggest problem Watch OS has. It takes way too long and it's way too difficult to install an upgrade.

My Watch stopped syncing any health related data after the update. I needed to un-pair/re-pair to get things going again.

It was only health data though, apps and notifications all worked fine.

This happened to me running beta 5. I had to unpair and repair with beta 5. So far with beta 6 everything is syncing.

Can someone confirm the Reminders app has been removed from WatchOS 5?

I still have reminders with beta 6...

Beta 6 has Reminders on the Watch of my brother.

By the way, Activity is really going nuts.
Mine Activity for the day on watchOS 4.3.2: 18.3 kilometres, 18 hours, 176 minutes and 1111 calories.
My brother's Activity on the 6th beta is: 7.2 kilometres, 12 hours, 90 minutes and 1140 calories.

Motion, Timelapse and Toy Story faces don‘t animate anymore. They show a static image when switching to them but when I tap them or raise my wrist again I only get an empty/black background. Re-adding and restarting the watch didn‘t help. Anyone else having this issue?

Same here, happened on beta 5 and 6, I’ve tried a full restore which hasn’t helped.

I just installed the beta profile and then checked for updates to install Watch OS 5 (current 4.3.2). Unfortunately the app can't find the update and I can't update to the latest Watch OS public beta.

There’s no public beta of watchOS, only a developer beta, so if you installed the iOS public beta profile that’d be why it says there’s no update.

Force pressed t close all notifications and watch won’t leave “clear all” screen. I tried resetting home screen and reset sync data from the phone just to see if it would get the watch off that screen but no luck. Any suggestions short of erase and unpair phone? Thanks.

So, is the Series 1 not getting all of the features of watchOS 5, Like the Webkit engine stuff and the raise to use Siri? I don't have any of these features on mine.

I'm also having the Activity bug. Just did a HIIT workout and no calories or frankly anything recorded. That’s fun.

Anyone else having charging issues? I forgot to take my Series 1 off this morning and got the 10% notification. Took it off to get a quick 30 minutes before starting work and then charging in a couple hours there, and it somehow went down to 7%? I’m so confused what’s going on with my Watch. Should’ve just waited for the public release...
