Yeah. I have iOS 9 Beta 2 running with apple music installed and the songs can't play on my watch while on beta 2.

EDIT: okay weirdest thing. I just checked and now it seems to be working? perhaps after an overnight sync? It didn't work yesterday when I went for my run.

To sync, they have to be on the charger. So if you didn't put the watch on the charger until last night then it all syncs. Just as a heads up!

Has there really been any actual proof that there's going to be an update or is this all just speculative? As in, "since they updated to iOS 8.4 and iTunes, we should 'assume' that there is going to be a watch update as well."

According to Apple's own website there should be an update.

More like hopefully wishing for many here. Apple is the only one that knows. I hope they take their time and catch as many bugs as possible.

Still LOVE my AW.
They've only released one tiny update for the device. They could stand to release two updates between now and wOS 2. If they wait much longer, it'll be closer to wOS 2 than wOS 1.0.1.

I love my watch too but the music sync and bluetooth headphone bugs are irritating. I have to unpair (and lose all my calibration data) every time I want to sync a new playlist. I have to turn bluetooth off on my phone or the headphones (connected to the watch) will cut out when I come into and out of range of the phone. I wish they'd just fix these two, as they're the largest ones I've seen, and work on the rest later.

That doesn't necessarily say there's a watch OS update though. Notice how the iPhone image specifically mentions updating to 8.4. So perhaps there is a minor update to the music app? I hope it fixes more than that but I'd rather be presently surprised than waiting for something that we really don't know what exactly it is that we're waiting for (unlike how we do actually know what's in 2.0). It looks like it's a music only update.
