If someone is serious about buying, I have one for sale. It's the personal size in copper and its only a month old and in BRAND new shape. Ill let it go for 180. I paid 209 with shipping and tax.

I love the bag and is top quality. I bought the bag since I was going to be working in DC for a month (work for the govt) and used it to get my iPad around town. Im almost done with my detail here in dc (go back to the bay area fri). I like the quality so much that I'm going to get a bigger one (even better work pays for it) so i can use it to carry both my work issued laptop and my iPad.

Chip this is your chance! I have the color you want and I'm in your town so you can pick it up (Alexandria to be exact)

Just got back from a business trip and was able to take only my (10") Muzetto bag as a carry-on!! I packed just what I needed: iPad, iPhone, small wallet, chapstick/lip gloss, cash, Shure headphones, charger for iPad (just in case), magazine and a pack of gum. Really the bare minimum but I didn't bring anything that I didn't need.

I was really happy with the slim design of the bag and the spaciousness of the pockets. For a short trip, it's just perfect. If I was going away for a longer trip and bringing my larger Bose headphones, Kindle, etc, I would need one of my other bags.

During the conference I attended yesterday I got many compliments on my bag and my friend who now desperately wants to get one was dismayed that they're not available until July now.

Anyway, great bag, and tremendous quality!!

Sandy

I'm in London at the moment with my Muzetto, and I can't tell you how many compliments I get on it. In the Tube, in a museum, at the mall ... people stop me to ask me where I got it. At the Regent Street store I must've had 20 people around me as I was demonstrating how fantastic this bag is.

Oh, and the Exo Sleeve is also a huge hit.

Here in Europe, practically everybody carries around a bag of one kind or another. I've never seen any as nice as my Waterfield.

Plus, it's just an all-around wonderful company. Great people, fantastic service, top quality, true attention to detail.

Well worth the wait, believe it.

Even nicer than I expected

Just to let those waiting for their mid to late-June production Muzettos know, they've started shipping! My 10" Portable (Flame) arrived yesterday and it's hard to believe but it's even nicer than I expected. It's true that the pictures don't do it justice (and the pictures are great on this forum.) Needless to say, two minutes after it arrived I was back on sfbags.com ordering the Smart Case to match...

It's also true that the customer service of Waterfield is second to none.

I'm doomed. Next ... what bag for my MacBook Pro?

Thanks to all you awesome MR forum posters for sharing your knowledge :)

Ah lucky you. I'm still waiting for mine. Gary sent me an email today saying that it should be shipping soon.

I'm sure I'll be back too to get one of their iPhone 4.0 cases.

I just got mine! The flame color is perfect. I was hesitant to order the flame color at first because in this review, it appeared to almost be fluorescent.
The one thing I was worried about was that it would be a hassle removing my WaterField iPad Slip Case from the Muzetto, and then having to remove the iPad, but I've been able to pull the iPad out, and the Slip Case stays in place. :D

I should have ordered the slip case too, but I had bought the Exo case and it is an extra step to remove out of that case to get to the iPad. Instead I'm just leaving it in my Apple cover and just throwing it in the Muzetto by itself. The bag is heavily padded with all that leather.

Anyone here have both the Tom Bihn Ristretto and the Waterfield Muzetto? I've had the Ristretto for about three weeks and the Muzetto arrived on Saturday. While the Muzetto certainly is high quality leather, I'm a bit underwhelmed. The shoulder strap is terrible and non-removable (this was a surprise to me) compared to the Tom Bihn Absolute strap. The Tom Bihn bag also has a number of little o ring connectors inside that you can attach little organizer bags on. The Muzetto doesn't have anything like this.

I'm not saying the Muzetto is bad bag, it's not. But after waiting all this time for it, after getting it I'm not sure I like it as well as the Tom Bihn. Anyone else compared the two bags?

I'm a bit underwhelmed

I feel the same. It's good quality and looks OK, but I'm not sure it was worth the wait, or the price. And, it's big! My iPad disappears inside.

I guess you are supposed to put your iPad in a SleeveCase and then put the SleeveCase inside the Muzetto. So, when I have a lot of stuff to carry around I'll use the Muzetto and when I just need to carry the iPad I'll use the SleeveCase.

My biggest disappointment is the permanently attached shoulder strap.

Kenny

I think the shoulder strap is my primary disappointment. It's one thing to be subpar at this price but to be subpar and permanently attached makes no sense to me. Does yours have large thick black seams at the bottom of the main compartment? I've not seen anything like that before.

I like my Muzetto and have no regrets! It serves it's purpose which is to hold my iPad, look stylish, and have a little more room for other items such as my checkbook, house keys, detachable face stereo etc.

The permanent strap doesn't bother me because there is no middle handle to carry it otherwise. Of course I would have loved it even more if the price was lower, but it's the price I pay to protect my investment.

A removable strap would ruin the look of this bag, I can't imagine it at all! Clean classic lines is what I see....

The Tom bihn one reminds me of my timbukt2 bag, a workhorse but not the classier look I'm wanting in the muzetto. You know, a bag that doesn't scream I'm carrying electronics around.

Anyway, choice is good, can you return it?

I haven't contacted Waterfield yet so I dont know if it can be returned. Does yours have thick black seams inside the main compartment at the bottom?

Returning your Muzetto shouldn't be a problem. Their customer service is top-notch. The Muzetto has thick black seams, because the outside of the case is seamless.

I absolutely love this bag and am so tempted to order one but I kind of want something more girly. I want something that I can use as a purse even if I'm not carrying my ipad but that will be big enough to hold my ipad if I want to bring it.

If this bag came horizontal instead of vertical I would buy it in a second. I just think that with it being vertical it would be too easy to get little things lost on the bottom :/

I have found a lot of purses on amazon that I want but they are only listing the external dimensions if they are listing dimensions at all so I have no idea if it would fit!

I just want something that doesn't look like a laptop bag so I can carry it everywhere with me with or without my ipad in it.
