Hi Guys,

I'm looking for something to use on my iPhone 5 when I go on vacation (water+sand proof), would like something that can go at least 2m depth so I can snap some photos and video with my family.

I found this Lifeproof case (http://www.lifeproof.com/) but I have seen some mixed reviews for it.

Anyone knows anything else ?
Can also be a camera case like this (http://www.watershot.com/watershot-for-iphone-4.html), but I couldn't find one for iPhone 5.

Maybe you guys know something about this :D

Thanks in advance!

While it's true that a picture taken with a camera that's with you is better than one not taken because the camera's at home, I just don't see the huge need to have a phone while swimming. I have a Lifeproof, have since they came out, and I'm on the water in a job-related capacity most weekends. However, I don't use the phone for pictures IN the water. None of these cases are reasonably warrantied (look at the deductibles for those that are; you don't gain much over Applecare, if any. All of them can fail, usually due to your error in closing them correctly, but it doesn't really make any difference whose fault it is, you are out a phone. Instead of spending $100 on a case, get a small waterproof Lumix TS-20 for less than $150; it's not much bigger than the iPhone and it's MADE to go underwater to take pictures. If you want to have more fun, sure, get a GoPro but they're not for the novice. Until someone makes a phone from the ground up to be waterproof (and warranties it appropriately) you are playing with fire to plan on submerging any smart phone.
