Waze and CarPlay

I am running iOS12 latest beta and run CarPlay.....from WWDC it said that with iOS 12 Waze and others would be available for use with CarPlay.....

Is this a feature they will have to enable or should it work ?

Unless Waze run a beta program, and you’re accepted for it, you won’t see it until ios12 is released generally. Even then it’s not guaranteed since Google, who own Waze, are hostile to keeping apps updated for the latest iOS and iPhone features. It took them a long time to make everything iPhone X ready. Google/Waze could release a beta today. If you’re not happy that they haven’t you should tell them.

Just remember, wake and google maps is to be available on CarPlay on iOS 12, not iOS 12 beta. But there is probability that it may come in the beta. Time will tell.
