Also to your point, every time it's been polled, the results have shown that many of us are part-time Windows users. It's nice to have a Windows for Mac Users kind of place to go for help for those of us who use Windows sometimes, especially since if we post in a forum like that here, then we can start off with, "Okay, I know how to do X on a Mac..." which we could not post elsewhere.

Perhaps if we used that kind of branding / theme -- as a Windows for Mac Users (perhaps in conjunction with the Windows on Macs forum), it would be appropriate. We could have for instance a Windows "Group" of forums, in which one is a Windows on Mac forum and one is a Windows OS / Apps forum. Or we could have a Windows forum and make one of these a subforum of it.

Would that make this less unappetizing for those who are worried about the overall impact on MacRumors?

You could put it right at the very bottom of the page and I would be very grateful indeed.

Quality, not Quantity!

I think anyone with a big problem can find a different board. Or post under Windows on Mac, or Community Forum.

PC are big enough to warrent their own site, and issue could be dealt with better there.

Be back? I don't think I'm going anywhere, I'm no Apple Fanboy I like the reliability and stability of Mac's but they are expensive, and todays Mac are closely similar in terms of hardware to PC anyhow. PC's are much cheaper, if Mac's and Apple where so great and fantastic why are there so many Apple Apologists?

Edit: Also no to a PC forum macrumors is Mac specific site.

Apple Apologists? That's a new term. Can you define it please? ;)

If you like the reliability and stability, then I would suggest you already know why you're paying what you are for Macs. That's why I pay for them and I'm far from rich, but I can't afford to be fixing my machine all the time either. That would be far more costly in terms of productivity, efficiency and clients.

We don't feature non-Apple categories outside the "Mac Community" section because we don't want to focus on Windows/PC issues nor look like we are trying to promote ourselve as a place to go for PC help.

I do not mean to receive help, I mean to trash the damn PC thing!

Yesterday my girlfriend brought her tesis to print it in my place. For some reason Word changes the marging on the Mac so I went to use my brother PC and I had to connect my laser printer to his computer. When downloading the driver the computer freezes!

I do not need help for that, it is all clear...

Well, we don't need a place to rant on MacRumors. Use your computer for that and when you're finished, drop the document in the Trash.

^ ^ yes, please no suffering pc people clogging up the system... could you imagine the overload the profanity filters would endure, not to mention the extra work for moderators!;)
