I noticed that too! I had a billion missed calls from people this morning because the vibration didn't wake me up. I tested it out on my old iPhone 3G, and it seems to me, the vibration is the same for both, it's just a LOT quieter on the iPhone 4.

The 3GS vibrate was much better and the best. Iphone 4, is cut in half of what the 3GS used to be!

I searched the app store and I didn't see a Vibrator app. Can I still use this vibrator with my case? Is it hard to clean the iPhone after using it as a vibrator?

Phone doesn't vibrate at all

I have vibrate turned on, but iphone 4 is not vibrating AT ALL (. Am I missing something? (I am a new iphone user)

My Mrs was walking past and noticed the thread title, she had to double take and then wait a moment just to work out what I was looking at lol!!!

lol @ title but to be honest,

i can't feel the vibrate on this phone.
i have doubts it even works ha
i need to try to call myself to see if it works.

The switch is actually a silent switch. For it to vibrate, you need it on in the Sounds menu in Settings.
It's still very low.

I Loled when I read the title, but.....

Not to be condescending, but isnt the point of silent mode to be as quiet as possible? I have noticed a little bit of a drop in the strength of the vibration for incoming texts, but I have no problem with it. My 3GS vibrate quite loudly in a quiet room, and distracted people on numerous occasions.

I personally think its fine.

It sounds loud when I get a call or text while the phone is in my office on the desk. But, yeah, I've missed two calls today while it was in my pocket. Then again, I rarely noticed my 3G or 3GS, either.

Might be the size, try something bigger with more batteries.
