Would this still be shown if you deleted the Apple News app?

Regardless, tacky, but if they leave it below the 10 day forecast, I don't see it as much of an issue. I only ever look at the current conditions and 10 day forecast. And likely it's weather related news, targeted to the location, so unless they start showing articles about anything but weather... again, I don't see why there's a reason to cry foul.

Miss Dark Sky. No other app I have tried works as good. I did try My Radar Pro - it was ok. I liked the hurricane tracking feature. However the native app is just a huge miss. I was happy to hear they bought Dark Sky but a year or two later, still nothing worth noting as to what they did with it.

What weather app do you use now?

I use the native for daily and My Radar Pro for detailed/specific radar.

This is nice, But I want Dark Sky back! Sadly Apple is shutting down the best weather app at the end of the year
The Apple Weather App on the Apple Watch is incredibly difficult to use and does not give minute by minute weather changes which I guess is important if you live somewhere else besides CA.
Does anyone else hate what Apple did to Dark Sky and or hate Apple Weather?

I hate Apple weather because it’s too complicated, not enough simple information without scrolling and shuffling around. The use of screen real estate is meh to me.

$5 says we’re going to get climate change panic articles 🙄 (I don’t care about your politics, so don’t bother responding.)

I would like to control when and where I get my articles/news, thank you.

I do hope the news can be turned off, or forced off by deleting the News App.

I don’t expect Apple to add politics to a weather app, but if an article explains more extreme weather patterns coming to a region as a result of climate change, I don’t consider that to be politics.

Weather, climate and climate change are sciences, but the mess we humans created by dealing (or failing to deal) with it is definitely politics.

That said, I agree and don’t see the added value of having articles in the weather app. Except for Apple wanting to drive more traffic to their failing News service.

Science doesn’t care what you think. Climate change is real.

Please make it so you can turn it off. In maps I have annoying guides i cannot turn off. Now annoying news I cannot turn off? I am sure the news app is amazing but I don’t use it and don’t want it.
