Weather widgets moving

sorry to bump this 4 year old threada.. but did anyone find a solution on how to fix this? I run 10.5.7 and it's still a pain in the butt having to move my weather widget everytime I dis/connect my ext. monitor! 🙁

Also sorry to bump, but the problem still exists in 2012. On OSX 10.6.8. Moves down 20px or so every restart, and only the weather widget is affected.
