Hey, would you mind sharing how you got the date centered / up top, and the weather etc centered / down bottom.

Thanks!!

p.s. - And if it's not too much trouble would you mind sharing your wallpaper / dock images.

^ did you respring? Works for me but only after changing the wallpaper in Settings and doing a respring.

btw 60% for me shows a thin white line in my wallpaper on the right side so i changed it back to 61% and covers the full screen.

About the wallpaper... you need to read better. Pretty much everything about the wallpaper was laid out in this thread. I also said 60% looks more accurate. I have an object in the center of my wallpaper and I noticed it wasn't centered correctly at 61%. Glad you got it figured out though.

As for those numbers, I pulled them off an old theme.

I wish people that were born with a computer in their hand would realize that not everybody understands all this odd code that is posted and talked about. I'm a car guy, I know cars, I understand them from top to bottom, when I'm discussing technical details about cars with people who aren't "car people" I use laymans terms. I'll I'm asking is for some sort of easy to follow directions, a guide, there's nothing I haven't read about this on this forum and everything else google had to offer.

To me, most of this stuff looks like Chinese, when I see people say you need to do this and that, and this and that cannot be found, anywhere, it's confusing. I've learned a lot since I've had an iPhone, but sometimes I need a translation, that's all! I finally got my own wallpaper to work even, but somehow managed to screw up it's proportions and I made the weather icon vanish.

When I used 60% my wallpaper multiplied into 4 smaller versions, I got it the right size, somehow, just can't figure out how to center it.

Anyways thanks for the help, I just wasn't born for this stuff..:eek::eek:

Yep, I resprang and still nothing...

I'm looking around in the cs files and js files of this theme and I can't figure out where the city name code is located. I want to either remove it, or make the text the same color as the time/date. I use a very dark wallpaper so it looks silly and barely readable at all. Does anyone know how to go about this?

If you have the original theme, there are 2 configureme.js files. The one you want to edit is /Private/WeatherWidget/Private/configureMe.js

The line you're looking for in that js is:

// The location field should be a relatively machine-legible string
// if using the default, Apple/AccuWeather parser (originally from Leopard's Weather.wdgt)
var locale = "92587" Edit this
//e.g. 'Defiance, Ohio'|'Moscow, Russia'|'Ledyard, AT'|'London, UK'|"USNY0996"

I'm confused? I have the city location correct, I just want to remove the actual name from displaying. I tried editing my zip code, but then the weather disappears entirely and I want the temp/icon to display, just not the city. (or be able to change the color of the city, if that's my only option).

Sorry..I didn't read your whole post..thought you were having problems getting your weather to show up properly. :p

Assuming you're using the myopia css, go to this part and edited that area to the color you want:

#city{
margin-right: 32px;
text-transform:capitalize;
color: white;
font-variant: small-caps;
text-shadow: 0px -1px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7);
font-size: 1.0em;
}

Whew, thanks for the tip. I started using "split" instead because I can't live with 3x3 and I needed the 4x4 dense, and that's the only one "split" worked good for by default. But using your tip and a TON of trial and error I now have weatherfurik looking how I want.

Now to get all my icons themed and call it a day...lol.

Looks ok. I would center the time at the bottom and move the weather icon up just a little though.

Can you post where you got that wallpaper from?

um...:rolleyes: what do i change to move everything down a bit? right now, weather and time are behind my last row of icons, would like to move everything down between that and my 'dock' icons...

somehow, i've got the time and date where i want them. but how do i move the city and weather icon down as well??

EDIT: am somehow figuring it out...LOL... thanx anyway!

Is there a way to have the weather icons etc but still be able to apply wallpaper changes through the regular photo app?

I change walls too often to have to go into the code and update it.

I did this using the edit function in iFile and inserting the script mentioned on page 1 of this thread into the appropriate spot in the Wallpaper.html file.

Has anyone updated libweather? Cause my weather isnt working anymore.

EDIT: Nvm, restarted and now it works.

You can simply replace background.png your wallpaper in the theme folder. If you want to be able to manually change the settings, delete this line in the file wallpaper.html. I have trouble seeing what I can open SSH installed WinSCP, but I can not issues, issues that I see the library, but not when I open it.

cool clock folder

hey guys,

reviving the thread a little by asking, what is that 'cool clock' folder in weatherfurik?

from the code, it looks like the clock has a second hand and minute hand and what not....can we activate and use it somehow?

Is there a way to move it to the top of the page instead of the bottom?
