Wed stock/line report

Someone reported on 5th Ave store today as 4 hours but that was hours ago. I had called the Paramus store and spoken to folks a couple of time launch day. All of NJ on the retails site shows no stock.

You should try to call Paramus and also Short Hills mall. That's where I scored the 16GB white on Saturday morning. I was less than 20 when I got there and in and out within an hour. Yes, I was lucky.

But do try to call the stores, they will give you generally a picture of the wait. They won't tell you how much stock though; you have to feel it out.

Anyone have updates in the LA area?

At 10:30 am there was about 30+ people in line at Pasadena Apple store.
I asked the Front guy how long he had been there, and he replied with a matter of fact "only 2 hours"
I guess 2 hours doesn't seem like much to some.
I guess I'll just have to wait ...a week or.... 2?

Anybody know if the two apple stores in San Antonio, Texas...La Catera or NorthStar have any stock?

I was at the La Cantera and all they had was white 16gb. I want a black.

I've gone to the Apple Store 7 times the week, all sold out of 16GB black. Two of those times were at the SF "Flagship" store .

Went to Tysons Corner store (VA) today at about 4. They were out of 16GB black, but were selling other phones.

But unfortunately the line was closed for the day. My guess is there were about 50-60 people still in the line.

Same... saw some folks leaving with phones at around 4:15. Laughed at the line, got some Teavana, and left. I think I'll wait another week

At&t store in Cary, NC are out of stock. Says that you can order one and expect one in 10-21 days..

I am done with ATT...well I never tried them...but I am strickly going to get my iphone 3g 16GB black at one of the two Apple Stores...I just got to time it. I will try tommorrow...if not then wait till middle of next week. I have a feeling there is gonna be a big shippment sometime next week.

Apple has a big hit on their hands...I think they should open up the online store and sell them there...it would be much easier for the consumer. We need to start complaining...

As the iPhone Availability site pointed, Wednesday morning only San Antonio's La Cantera would be store to have any iPhones and they would only be white. I got there before opening and as the site stated only 25 white were in stock and nothing else. So I was glad I walked away with my White iPhone cause the site now San Antonio without any iPhones at all on Thursday. The country seems to be going dry except the big San Francisco and New York Cube store that have been green everyday...its like employees are assembling iPhones in the back constantly.

Yeah if anyone knows that would be great. I dont shop at that particular store but any info on Tices Corner in Woodcliff Lake, Garden State in Paramus, or even Palisades in West Nyack NY would be great.
