iPod touch Week 39

Maybe I'm missing something really obvious or something here... But... What does "Week XX" mean, and how do you figure it out?

I have been trying to figure this out too, but I think it states which week of the year it was made ie. a week 38 iPod Touch would be made on the 38th week of this year. Im 99% sure on this one. I hope this helps!
