Weekly Photo Contest | 9-8 to 9-15 |Nautical

The theme for this week's contest is NAUTICAL . Anything related to the sea,ships , or sailing . No ocean nearby? Use a lake , river or other body of water . If you're in the desert , think along the lines of a kiddie pool and a rubber duck , get creative ... I'm real flexible .

As always, standard rules apply:

• The photographs must be your own work. No AI generated images.
• You may only submit one photo per contest.
• No commenting or liking photos until after the judging has taken place.
• This contest runs for about a week, starting now.
• At the end of the competition, the judge (last week's winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
• The 1st place winner will start a new thread here with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).
• Be sure to update the Contest Master List as soon as you post a new theme.

Contest closes 7 days later, September 15th at noon NYC time . Have fun with this !

I was /am working out of a hotel room in San Fran after a major Labor Day celebration up in Marin . Not fully functional at the time of the original posting . No problems with you being a pedant , it's a dirty job , and somebody's got to do it . 🙂 Title changed , as usual can't get the Master List to link .
