Weekly Photo Contest Challenge: Fresh! (March 23 - March 30)

The topic is simple: fresh.

Fresh new green. Fresh fruit. Fresh clothes. Fresh air. Fresh food. Fresh ideas.

Interpret this any way you like.

As always, standard rules apply:

• The photographs must be your own work
• You may only submit one photo per contest.
• No commenting or liking photos until after the judging has taken place.
• This contest runs for about a week, starting now.
• At the end of the competition, the judge (last week's winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
• The 1st place winner will start a new thread here with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).
• Be sure to update the Contest Master List as soon as you post a new theme.
• Contest ends on March 30 at midnight CEST (give or take).

Looking at this picture I still remember the fresh breeze flowing from the Aegean Sea. That feeling is just so amazing!

@akash.nu Fresh breeze and if it were a sunrise, a fresh new day. Amazing colours and the tiny, tiny ship shows the scale of the view.

@OldMacs4Me Fresh new snow. Nice contrast with the sunny blue sky in the background. Despite the sun, there's still a lot of detail visible in the snow.

@StrollerEd Fresh flowers. The flower in the middle is nicely focused, showing all the detail of its stamens.

@oblomow Amazing sky with a low sun working out the detail in the clouds. Looks windy and not too warm.

@_timo_redux_ More fresh snow. The dynamic pose of the child captures nicely the fun of playing in the snow. I like how the reflection from a window or something behind the camera provides some extra light on the child.

Not an easy choice, as the pictures are all very close in quality.
