With last weeks theme, Sunday Fundays, what if in the middle of that fun, your robot (everyone has a robot don't they???) suddenly starts going DANGER! DANGER! interrupting your Funday. Yes, the classic line from the mid 1960's science fiction sitcom, Lost in Space, Will Robinson's robot alerted him every show!

While no picture, got the idea remembering a fun 45 mile bicycle ride and suddenly noticed a coral snake in the road. My feet were out of the clips and up on the handlebars so quick as I rolled past within inches of the poisonous snake and you can understand why I didn't have a camera with me.

IT doesn't have to be that dramatic but when having fun...the DANGER! DANGER! Use your imagination with a couple examples below, one at sea level, the other at 10,000 ft (3000 m) - suspension bridge spanning two peaks in the clouds and feeling weak knees when crossing with the bridge bouncing and swinging.

This one is going to be tough.

We were snorkeling at Grand Cayman and found a sting ray right beneath us. This was not at one of the tourist spots, he was just in the wild, swimming around.

@tizeye - That bridge shot!
Yeah. Had intermittent visibility and got lucky with that shot as the clouds came rolling through. That was mid July and winter coats were necessary. Only suspension bridge connecting two mountain peaks in the world, and other people walking across caused it to bounce plus light breeze swinging it. Want to go back to Les Diablerets (Fr translation - The abode of the devils) on a clearer day like the linked video. https://www.glacier3000.ch/en/

Several years ago I rode motorcycles for fun. This photo is me, riding at a good clip, holding a small camera down low to take a photo of the road.

Not a safe activity, but it turned out alright.....

This doesn’t look so dangerous, but……. This gate was across an overgrown dirt road. There was no fence, so we just walked around. We ended up in an area that is used to store hazardous materials. We existed on a paved road leading down from the storage area. That’s where the “do not enter” sign was. That’s also where the officer was that almost arrested me. (If you want a more imminent danger, you could get tetanus from the rusty chain.)

I realize that by posting two photos, I am disqualified from the contest. I agree with this rule, and accept the penalty. 😀 However, I thought you might enjoy seeing a before and after with danger.

By the way, I love all three kids' expressions on the second one.

A swamp, an unreadable sign and the knowledge that the Russian border is near...

(google translate when I was back: "access to the frontier zone is prohibited without authorization" )
