You mean take a picture to compare with yours? Also, does anyone think this yellow screen issue is software solvable? Like a jailbroken app that lets you change the screen temperature. Wonder if anyone has tried that route.
Yes take a pic with a camera so I can see
Hardly a yellow tint. Mine (5K) were extremely noticeable. keep that bc its brand new (61 is NOT a refurb)
I have a 61 and it looks identical to that.
Just remembers the displays are brand new from June so the screens will look like that. All the new ones wont bc they were made later probably from diff factories.
Forgot to say my 61 was made 2nd week of Jan 11
This is how most yellow tints are BTW

Yea my first replacement was as yellow as that picture, that's why I am pretty happy with this one. Although it is not as white as the display models it is pretty good. Mine was made in 2011, 5th week (1st week of February 2011).
Trust me. It will look more white once you stop comparing it to other phones. When I got my 61 I compared it to one display and mine was just as bright. Didn't even bother comparing it to other phones. I suggest when you go to apple, keep your phone in your pocket haha.
Not sure if this help you guys... I have a factory unlocked iPhone 4 (Canada)... had to get mine replaced due to a faulty vibrate motor thinger.....
anyways my replacement is a 61...
Ya I was curious and bored so I called AppleCare. They said any phone with a LETTER (A, B, C, K, Q) after a NUMBER (1-10) is a refurb (or remanufactured) for example 5K or 6Q. Any phone with 2 LETTERS like 61 or 87 is new...
maybe hes wrong i dunno haha. He said people ask a lot bc they dont want refurbs when they get a replacement.
nope none....
my replacement phone starts with an 86, oriignal iphone 4 started with an 86,
so is it brand new?
