Well, I finally dropped it!

Hey guys get the hard plastic see-through case. You lose nothing of the aesthetic appeal, and if you drop it, it is totally protected. Mine even came with a neck strap and belt clip. Best case, ever.

I bought a Diablo iSkin. It stays on there unless I'm eating dinner at a bar and I want to show it off to some geek with a Palm or Blackberry that "thinks" he is cool.

Mine has dropped a few times, either falling out of my pocket of my sweatpants or me loosing my grip, from a distance you cant even tell and only with a close inspection can you see a few nicks and scratches on the back side. This thing is pretty amazing.

I've dropped mine twice, but seem to have suffered no consequences

first I got in a scuffle with a punk that said he was a karate expert and that he could kill me with one blow, well I ended him with an armbar and told him he better get his ground game up, I could have beat his face in but he is a friend of a friend so the armbar was the ticket.....but anyways when I tackled him we rolled real quick and my phone got crushed in on the back because it was in my pocket

no damage though, which is good... I've also ALMOST done the "missed my pocket" technique... good thing I held on tight, because I'm pretty sure I was in a parking lot

If there were a lot of cars there stopped in rows, that's probably a safe bet.
