Well, I got robbed.

Sorry to hear about that. Luckily where i live (Horsham, west sussex, uk) the crime in relatively low. I have never been mugged, had stuff stolen from my house, nor have any of the people i know. I could use my macbook in my town centre (in fact, i have😀)
 
If someone stole my macbook I would surely die. My roommate got her Dell Laptop stolen before but after that she just got a new macbook.

If you didn't note the frivolous tone of my post, you've been smoking too much. 😀

But honestly, 2 ounces (or 56 grams if you prefer) isn't that much in my recollection. Maybe in your local economy (or in your personal experience 😉) it is, but trust me, it really ain't. 2 ounces used to be $20 street. 😱 "Eights"? Hell, that's just a few decent joints (or one great fattie!). 😛

Well, I come from Philly so I don't think it's my local economy. But like you said; one great fattie. Now think about it; that person stole the equivalent of 16 blunts.

You're right, appy polly loggies for participating in the derailment of your thread. Not only did you get your iPhone & MacBook stolen, your thread got ripped off, too. 😱

So how did the data recovery with Migration Assistant work out? Also, any chance of finding any measure of justice? What're the odds of those guys getting caught/your stuff being recovered?
 
Did you have any back to my mac stuff setup on there, if so.. take a picture of his ass.

If you have a gmail account, do you have the ip tracker enabled?

Or even AIm with an autologin?

I'm just saying that because you might be able to get their IP and get the justice that you deserve.

I live in a perfect little pleasantville like city, and I'm still buying it.

The migration went okay. I have a new iPhone now. So, everything is back to normal. That was a heavy week, not to mention to major personal problems I experienced before and after it. Cheers, and thank's to all.
