Welp is not a word.

Sure it is. Used to express a stronger finality than just "well" which sounds girly. Power, man. In the English language, one need only say the word enough times before it gets added to some dictionary. Just look at "conversate".

Anyway, I agree with the other poster. Your order of attendance was off kilter. You should have gone to Apple FIRST, then Best Buy, then if you're really desperate, Wally World and Target.

Walmart was a good bet for me. Got to my local store at 4:45, waited for 15 minutes in the 6th position in line - turns out they had 6 on hand. Walked away with a 64gb black wifi - which I am typing on now.

Got lucky.

Now that's good news. Never could understand why launch supply always seems to run short of demand.

because Apple PR knows that short supply means long lines, and short supply on multiple days means weeks of lines and that means MORE FREE PRESS. Genius and annoying..

I found Sam's Club to have by far the most of anywhere. I got there at 5:05, they had a table set up with no line and at least 300 ipad 2's. I wanted the 64GB 3G AT&T which was the only one they didn't have so I left and tried six other stores (Walmart, Target, AT&T's, Best Buy) with no luck so I went back to Sam's around 6:30 and got the 64GB non-3G but they still had plenty of inventory with no line. The best part is they have a 90 day no questions asked return policy.....I even returned my original iPad on the way in the door.

I still haven't opened it yet b/c not sure if I want one w/out 3G. I couldn't find AT&T 3G anywhere, on Verizon.
