Yeah I have a combo of a 6 and the mini2. If I get the 6 plus s then I'll feel inclined to go full size ipad and aw. First world problems

I'm pretty close to that point myself. I'm contemplating selling the 6+. I love the battery life and the size when it comes to viewing. When it comes to dealing with the phone when I'm not actively using it, that's another matter.

LOL, its almost second nature now that I take my phone out of my pocket before sitting. I can't get into my car with my phone in my pocket.

That's the one thing that stops me from moving to the 6 Plus. I want to be able to sit with my iPhone in my pocket. I find pulling my iPhone in and out of my pocket as high risk for droppage.

I have a co-worker with a 6 Plus who warned me against getting the Plus and this was his main reason.

I went and checked out the iPhone 6. I think I'm nearly decided to sell the IP6+ and move to a 6. Given that we're nearly in June and Apple rolls out the updates in September. I'll probably use an older phone I have in the household in the mean time.

The pocket issue is probably the best way to convey the issues with such a large phone. Its not the only hindrance, but its easy to convey. Its a great phone, just not for me.

i think the advantages weight out the hindrances of phone pockets unless you wear skinny jeans. i do wear skinny pants for work purposed but for shorts its fine. and if anything put it in your back pocket if you work where you need to stand. the battery life is worth it.

Sold my 6 plus and went back to an iPhone 6, so far app crashing is a thing of the past :) jetsam events cut in half! Lag is barely noticeable compared to the plus. Only difference is the battery life huge difference to me but I will deal with it due to everything else running better...

I heard of people going from 6+ down to 6 but mostly from the angle of the 6 being more accessible to more types of pockets. I just got into the iPhone world recently with 6+.

I am looking toward getting an iPhone 7+ or 7S+ in a few years for my next phone, but if things continue like this and the "plus" variant is always buggier and laggier, I will stick to the regular variant. I hope they give the plus the actual 2208x1242 display it needs, because it seems it would perform better as it wouldn't be down sampling everything constantly.

I am a little apprehensive because of the size increase, not because of usability (I've used them and they seem fairly reachable for me) but because of pocket space. It will likely feel annoying in a few pairs of pants I have, and/or simply not fit well.

Anyway, the battery life is a HUGE factor. My 6 easily gets me through the average day, but not comfortably if I want to use it as much as I'd like to. I feel a + could last me up to 3 DAYS if I'm careful, which would be awesome. The landscape features are pretty big, too. I feel like I want to use my phone in landscape at times, but it's super annoying having to turn my phone back to portrait whenever I switch to yet another app I will be using in landscape. The larger screen as a whole just seems nice as well, that's an obvious one. I hope that the + is the right decision for me in the future because I get phones on contract and I'm stuck with what I get hah...

I don't wear skinny jeans and whether I wear regular Levis or docker type pants, the IP6+ is too big. I'm rather tall and skinny yet, I feel that its not comfortable in my pants.

Believe me, I've had this phone since it came out in the fall, I've give this phone plenty of time and tried all sorts of options. For me, its not a situation I want to live with.

I'll not be putting the phone in my back pocket - that's a a recipe for bending that bad larry.

I could never go back to a phone 4.7 in size. Coming from the Android world, it is too small, browsing is made very difficult and battery life ain't gonna cut it. I believe this size is an accommodation to the existing customer base coming from the ultra small 5(s). Very few smartphone models are made of that size these days yet is was the standard iphone size not too long ago. For those who think the Plus is too big, the Nexus 6 is still a half an inch larger and Google had trouble keeping them in stock for the longest time. Where you stand on the size issue is based on where you sit. And for quite awhile now, the customer base for the iphones lived in a different world than the Android world in terms of size. Now there is catching up to do. I think further catching up is necessary.

I have never experienced a major problem with apps crashing on the 6+. There are a few but I think that is the app not the phone.

the only one I've had crash is mortal kombat x. and it would freeze for about 10 seconds, id double tap to bring up the apps to close, go back to it and it was fine. it could of just been loading issues but i have a 100mb/s wifi. but that game is pretty graphics intense.

I went back to 6 after using the 6 Plus for about 2 months. To me the UI experience on 6 is smoother and loadings are a bit faster. I only miss the gorgeous battery life but my daily life using the phone outside home is effortless. With 6 Plus it was like carrying a baby... you couldn't use it without not thinking where to place it and when i was in a rush one handed use was not easy. I have no regrets and i will never go back to a bigger phone (its true that everything seems small but you have to ask yourself for what stuff you want to use your iphone... and lets be honest iOS apps looks decent enough even on 4/4S....its not like Android were apps on many phones shrink or stretch depending on screen size).... i even hope that Apple will someday give us a 4.3" iPhone. Sometimes when i hold my girlfriends 5S i remember how gorgeous the one handed experience was. I think that even 6 is still big. After using 6 Plus i came down to a conclusion that i don't want an all in one device... i want my iPhone to be a casual device to check tapatalk/tweetbot/mails/messages and make some calls.... if i want to watch movies/videos i would use an iPad or my Mac... so no HUGE iPhones for me. I want a comfortable screen factor for daily usage :)

I had the Plus for 4 months and went back to the 6. The Plus is a nice phone with great battery life but it's just too cumbersome for me. Every time I get in the car I have to put it in the cup holder or set it on my desk at work because its just too big in the pocket. Forget one handed use. I looked, I tried and for me its the 6.

Glad you're happy with your decision! I went from a 6 to a 6 Plus and I haven't had any issues with mine. Have you had multiple Pluses with the same issues or was it just one? Either way I hope you're happy with your 6! I loved mine it's just the battery life on the + was the reason I sold my 6. I do miss one handed use though.

Same here. I never have any of these so-called problems with the Plus. I think people need to justify their reasons for switching with nonsense rather than just saying they preferred something else.

Funny there's a thread on this. I am planning to sell my 6 plus, and get a 6. I've had my 6 plus since launch...and, I still can't get used to the size of it. I always felt like 4.7" was the perfect size iPhone.

Didn't do your homework very well before buying did you?

I agree - 3rd party keyboards aren't as finished and complete as the stock one!
I'm surprised at how buggy the implementation is. I don't think its just the keyboard maker, I think the implementation that apple made to fit it in is kludgey and causing some of the issues.
