I was out to eat for lunch with my family the other day, and afterwards, I decided to swing by Goodwill on my way home. After browsing through the shelves of electronics, my eyes grew wide.

For only $3.99 I got myself a (from the looks of it, pretty new!) ADC to DVI Adapter! I tried it out when I got home, and it works like a charm, providing everything that the ADC displays need to the Mac that doesn't have ADC native. I tried it out first on my PowerBook G4 Titanium and then on my MDD.

I'm excited to be able to use dual Apple Studio Displays (I have the CRT one and a 17" flat panel) on my MDD if I want, and be able to use it on other Macs as well. Does anyone know if it's possible with a MiniDisplay to DVI adapter if it'll work on a modern MacBook?

Nice find! The best buy I could find on one was $20, so your score is exceptional!

Nice price! I kept my eyes open for one at a good price for a long time, until I lucked into a boxed one that came with a bundle of three Macs that I picked up last year. Playing games on my 20” CD with my Sawtooth is awesome.

Nice score! Yes, The adc to dvi adapter works both with the mini display port & mini dvi port to dvi adapters. I’ve had my acrylic cinema displays hooked up to both my 24” white iMac & aluminum MacBook with zero issues other than complete awesomeness. :) 96D5D437-8194-4917-9044-AA86472B02D9.jpeg
