Yeah, it was a great purchase. I upgraded to an intel macbook in 2009, but it was a three year old used computer at the time. Right now it's really showing its age, I can't wait to upgrade to a modern machine.

I can't really remember them all, but it all started decades ago with an Apple IIe (with DuoDisk). A true love story, even though today it is not the same anymore.

I remember writing routines in machine language back then, when I was still smart :)

Mac SE/30 (what a beast coming from a Mac+)

Powermac Blue and White, fantastic (firewire!!!)

MBP 17" (2010)

The last 2 not really remarkable but good solid machines.

Many other I have owned, ipods, iphones and many peripherals.

But overall a pretty nice story ....

Now, you might look at this list and mutter "fanboy" but I've been using PCs since they came out as well, as well as having been inoculated with Unix at college - plus, my computer history actually predates the Apple II by about 5 years. Bottom line, I don't buy crap for myself or others. Nor do I want to have to be cleaning up crapware, bloatware and antivirus on PCs. Some of those Mac gifts were actually for my sanity!
