I am “most thankful” for my new iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I am also thankful for all the other Apple devices I own…
12.9” M2 iPad Pro
AirPods Max
AirPods Pro 2
Apple TV 4K 128 GB
M1 Mac mini
Apple Pencil
Watch Ultra

It’s okay to be thankful. 🤪

2023…
M2 Mac mini
iPhone 15 Ultra
Pencil 3
AR/VR Reality

I’m most thankful for my iPhone 13 PRO, why? Because it’s just as good as the 14 PRO which made it a very easy decision for me not to upgrade.

I’m between my MacBook Pro M1 and my iPhone 13 Pro.

MacBook Pro gets my job done like no windows machine can (I’m a Final Cut video editor who likes to work in different places outside my home) and my iPhone is my most used thing in the day for various reasons.

So, I will pick probably the iPhone! Because it has a more all around usage in the day, and I have a more emotional connection with it, being one of the first Apple products to want, many years ago.

I'm definitely grateful for the MacBook Pro, in all its iterations.

I could have stuck with Windows (and still need to use it) for all these years that I've been working as a freelance translator. There's just something about the aesthetics of the MacBook Pro and the way that it "just works" (well, mostly 😛) that I really appreciate. Further, there are so many awesome third-party developers out there who are cranking away to make sure it looks and works right. Session, NotePlan, OmniFocus, Parallels, Ulysses... the list goes on and on.

I'm thankful to Apple for not giving up on the Mac, and for extending its usability, performance power and what it can do for all these years. They could have given up on the Mac or let it die a quiet death, as it isn't the huge cash cow that their iPhone and iPad lineup is. Fortunately, we can still enjoy the benefits of Apple's efforts. Even when they get things screwed up and take risks that don't pan out (or that cause massive repair headaches—we're looking at you, butterfly keyboard mechanism), the product is still sound.

I also appreciate that they've kept going with Logic Pro. This software is so important for my music production.

Apple isn't perfect, and sometimes they downright suck. Even so, I'm glad to be an Mac user, and even more glad to support the developers and companies out there that support the Mac. In a lot of ways, we're all in this together.

Oh no I don’t like this at all. Apple products are tools like any other. They’re cool tools that I enjoy using them, but I’m not thankful for them.

This feels like some real cult-of-apple stuff.
These tools are designed by people — people who work hard to design and develop some incredible tech.

I'm not bowing down to a corporate overlord, but I am indeed thankful for the devices I'm able to use each day. Were it not for the hard work and dedication of some very intelligent people, I would not have the opportunity to enjoy this tech.

The fact that a room full of fat cats have more of my money than I would prefer takes nothing from the achievements of engineers, programmers, designers, writers, artists, and the countless others who made the device I'm typing this on a reality.

And to answer the original question, I'd say I'm most thankful for MacBooks and MacOS — despite their flaws, and ups and downs over the years, they're some top-tier daily drivers.

without looking at the comments I’m most happy for my iPhone, then apple TV, then Apple Watch 😊 then my M1 MacBook Air that I use way more than my iPad Pro. I like the HomePods but Siri is terrible.

Mac user since a G3 & OS 7 @ 1994. Can't pin it down to one device since on a daily basis I use a M1 MBPro 13", M1 Mac Mini, multiple HomePods, AirPod Pros, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and my household uses 3 Apple TV's on a daily basis. Thankful for all of them, along with Logic Pro, which is such a great value for music software users.

That said, the one thing that I complain about on a daily basis is Siri lol. Ugh.

I'm most "thankful" for iMac.

I spent 6 months working odd jobs as a young teenager to pay for the blueberry iMac DV back in 1999. It taught me the value of working hard for things you want.

The iMac G4 changed my life. While my grandparents bought it as a graduation gift, that iMac (and iDVD, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign) got me a job with a photographer designing layouts and retouching photos, which led to me going to college and getting a degree in print media and eventually a job.

While I use the Pro line at work (currently a Mac Studio), my home office will always have an iMac. The green M1 iMac is beautiful and may be the last product design Apple uses from Jony Ive.

The Mac, easily. I got my first one in college in (cough) the early 1990s and have had a steady succession of them since then. I had to use a Windows PC for a few years at a job and it made me really realize how great Mac OS is, and the Apple Silicon hardware is just insanely good now.
Nice channeling Steve Jobs there! It's definitely insanely great, typing this on my M1 14" MacBook Pro while my 2 year old daughter dances to YouTube on the projector, transmitted from my MacBook to the Apple TV running the projector!😁

Gratitude for tools = cult-of-Apple? With all due respect, is Thankfulness really something that needs to be limited to the point where tools are excluded? Happy Thanksgiving.

My first computer was an Indigo G3 iMac. I loved that computer and I haven’t regretted sticking with Mac since. My second Apple device was a 3rd generation iPod Nano in Mint Green—I LOVED that little thing for ten years until the battery finally died. I used my old iPhone 4 as a glorified iPod to replace my Nano, but it just wasn’t the same. That said I bought a 7th iPod Touch some months ago and I am quite pleased with it. I use it only for music.

I had a G4 eMac which was a better computer than the G3, but I just didn’t feel the same way about it. I am definitely thankful for my current mid 2011 21.5 iMac which is still going these past 11 years.

I’ve had an iPhone 4, iPhone 6 and now I have an iPhone 8+. The 8 is a much better device than the previous ones and I am glad to have it.

That's a really good question. I love everything in my little ecosystem, so I guess I have to say I love Apple in general. Their products have changed my life, changed the world, and made living on this lunar hellscape we call "Earth" more enjoyable. Not only do I love their products, but the company itself is very environmentally conscious, humanitarian and seems like one of the only corporations that truly care about their customers.

iPad. It improved my productivity tremendously. Apart from iPad I would have to thank Procreate, Affinity Designer & Onenote as well. Great device for Notetaking & concepting. I haven't tried sculpting on iPad, but for taking quick notes, reading, Quick concepts & also some illustrations, it has helped me take my workload more mobile. At least the concept phase.

For 3D modeling & others I still use my PC.

This stuff might seem menial to some of you, but taking notes is 30% of the work (which includes taking notes of some tutorials & other info + organizing schedule, planning, getting reference etc.) & concept phase is 20%.

I still use photoshop in desktop for some of the concepts, but not hitting the usage that much like i did before. Now I only take stuff which needs some photo bashing or compositing.

That's 50% of my work right there.

Of all my current Apple products I currently own, I am thankful for my M1 Mac Mini. This is a powerful, nicely priced computer that continues to surprise me.

As for previous products, I have too many to name. My first Mac was the 128k Mac with a 400k disk drive. The OS (or some version of it) was contained on every application you used. There are still elements from Mac Paint that are still commonly used today. Loved the iMacs, iPod, video iPod, etc.

In 2023, I will likely buy an iPad pro to replace my iPad Pro 9.7 inch. Unless things change in terms of release, I will get a new laptop (M2 Air), and if the don’t jump in price too much, a new Mini.
