Funny though, I got to try a couple of blush wines -- which normally I would be afraid of -- but they were very good. I even bought a couple bottles.

Yup, I appreciate that, but as far as I was aware, Australia was on its own for calling the grape Shiraz. And Sicily is a heck of a lot nearer to France than it is to Australia .... ishn't it?yellow said:

You know what I miss? The Drunk Thread. Some of the best one-liners and worse spellings this forum has ever seen were there. To any mods who can remember: Two questions: 1) why was it closed? 2) What would we user need to do to see about ushering another?

Drop their customer services an email and tell them you were disappointed by it. I did that with a pizza once where the toppings were minimal - but obviously, since I'd just come in from the pub with hungry friends when I realised, we ate it anyhow. I emailed them to say that it wasn't great and got a £10 voucher back in the post.

However today I am at my brother's house working and thus am sitting roughly 20 feet from the shore (MAP) on a deck while working. I am due south of the green arrow, looking out at Mount Hope Bay.
Soon, my wife, daughter and two brothers will arrive for a cook out, evening fire in a chiminea, some drinking, and perhaps listening to the Boston Red Sox break their losing streak.
The wine for the evening is a red, Johnny Walker Red

sitting in the gym lounge a uc davis waiting for my 10:30 pm train ride to come. i got out of the dorms yesterday and spent the night at a friends but am forced to wander the gem that is davis until my train comes. its hot. really really hot out
I am spending Friday night the way I have for the past 2 weeks and the way I will for the next 5. Between the hours of 6:30 and 10:00 p.m. I have class. Luckily the second last class I have to take, even more luckily it is only an 8 week course which means I'm half done with it after next friday.
