^^ I thought The Village ended pretty good. I like endings that are dramatic like that.

And I agree with you wholeheartedly about Sandler movies. I really don't see why he's so popular..
Hated that movie. I figured out the twist ending within the first couple of minutes when I noticed there was no year noted on the gravestone.

Your Highness was completely awful and one I almost walked out of. Not a single laugh came out of my mouth during that wretched piece of ****.

Be Kind Rewind. dumb as hell, didn't even watch it all the way through.

(it's the only one I can think of at the moment... )

You don't mess with the Zohan was pretty stupid but probably not the worst I've seen.

I liked Hancock, whoever said it sucked.
I liked Hancock too but you have to admit that it was tonally all over the place. It didn’t know if it was a comedy or a drama.

Worst movie, hm... I left the theatre watching Planet of the Apes (remake), Lord of the rings (the first movie) and the reboot of Star Wars, don't remember the title.
Certainly popular movies, but not my cup of tea.

I like movies like Roman Polanskis "Repulsion", "Ida" (2013) and Baz Luhrman's "Lamour" trilogy.
Oh, I bought "Joker" with Joaquin Phoenix and loved that one, other than that movie i'm not into "Super hero" movies at all, even thou I did like Sam Raimi's version of Spiderman back in the days.

I feel like I've answered this question already somewhere on these very forums, but since we're basically talking about a public service announcement repetition can't hurt.

The Brothers Solomon.

Truth be told I can't remember much of it anymore, but there has to be a reason it's the first title to pop into my head when asked about really bad movies, right?

The Lobster- Could not complete
Oh, yeah! I remember watching that and reading reviews that praised it as a brilliant dark comedy with commentary on modern dating, and I was like, yeah, it's pretty bleak and I see the themes, but damn is it hard to sit through. It's so slow and off-putting.

the wurst movie i ever saw was "Attack of The 8foot-long Brat: Sizzling in Shebogan, The Sequel Dontchaknow"
Samuel L. Bronkowitz productions, of course.

Star Wars Special Edition. They ruined one of my all time favorite film by changing the Han/Greedo scene. It not only ruined the Han Solo character, it also ruin the Greedo character. Hail, even a can't-hit-the-broadside-of-a-sandcrawler stormtrooper could have hit Han at point blank range.

I thought years would mellow out my criticism, but nah. I'm taking this to my grave.😤
Southland Tales, with Dwayne Johnson, Sarah Michelle Gellar and even Justin Timberlake. 🤪😭🤮
Dwayne Johnson role as the primary antagonist in 127 Hours is Oscar worthy. The way he pinned that jabroni, James Franco...just like his days in the WWE🤨.

I've seen enough spoof horror or science fiction films to know to stay away from them (Killer Klowns, Mars Attacks! etc)

But probably the worst movie I've seen was Battlefield Earth. I'm a sucker for SF (even, in the past, spoof SF) and I thought it couldn't possibly be as bad as reviewers said. It was worse.

Even worse than In the Realm of the Senses, which is saying something. Incidentally, In the Realm of the Senses was shown in a local art house movie theater at the same time as In Bed with Madonna. I wished I'd chosen to watch the Madonna movie instead, which shows how bad it was.

I also refuse to watch anything with Adam Sandler - he can act but it's a crap shoot whether any particular movie is watchable. Also, any movie with Sandler and Rob Schneider together is unwatchable.

I was riding in the back of an airplane yesterday and decided to watch a movie to pass the time. I browsed the new releases and saw The Legion, thinking, "Hey, maybe I'll scratch my nerd itch a little and watch what'll likely be some cheesy Roman crap."

Well I was right, it was cheesy. And really, *really* terrible. Quite honestly I've never seen anything quite like it - it was like watching a film student's first attempt at a film. And I'm not a tough person to please! It reminded of this Onion article: Passengers Bravely Take Down Plane Showing Big Momma's House 2

:p

Fearing and Loathing in Las Vegas. I don't see where it gets its high rating. It was painful forcing myself to continue until the end. I actually made it a challenge.

Yes, agreed. I just see his name pop up and I’ve tuned out.

Very late to the party with this one. Rosemary’s Baby. I like a good horror and I know this is more of a psychological type horror, but no. It is long, and a slow burner that never really ignites. Rosemary also really irritated me.

It’s one of those films on IMDB that has amazing reviews, endless 10/10. Maybe a second viewing is required.

It's a classic, but I am not sure it can stand the test of time even for a psychological horror.

anything with Ice Cube, Keanu Reeves, Paul walker, Vin Desiel, Steven Segal,( i could probably go on and on) in them, are garbage...IMO
Agree about Ice Cube but the SURE sign of WASTE has got to be Segal! Anything! Anything at all!

One of my favorites! Read the book first though......long, long ago.
