Who knows? Why the second week? Why can't you pre-order?
We don't have any money for the full price yet. But we can do the T-Mobile 0 down thing.
Walking in store is the best way to get approved for 0 down.

Looking at prior releases, I'd say the odds of just walking in and getting one is between slim and none.

It usually takes a month before stock is in stores consistently unless you want a sprint phone.

What about in the 3rd week? if any had experiences walking in on 3rd week.

Typically they will get stock a few times a week. You can que up and they will ask everyone what phone they want and then hand you a "card" to purchase the phone. The first few weeks stock is very limited and it is hard to say what week 3 will be like. If you get to the store early you should be able to get one though.

Again highly unlikely but it all depends on how many they can supply and what the demand is especially for individual models. Unless some has a crystal ball and can look into the future no one can say for sure. You would just have to take a chance.

i say it before anybody else does: rather wait. newly released phones are more prone to problems and you don't want to be stuck without a phone for days in case your's is faulty. and money seems to be an issue so you won't be able to just buy another phone for the interim. to answer your question: here in the boston area I had to wait around 2 month before the new phones were consistnetly available.

I remember in the UK putting my email address forward on a morning and having to wait up to 9pm to see I was fortunate enough to get a reply confirming my reservation of the iPhone 5s. Took 14 attempts.

Had to reserve the iPhone 6 Plus for store collection which took a couple of days too.

I buy mine sim free unlocked.

If the rumored 100 Million iPhones available at launch is true, compared to the low available launch iPhones in the past, you should be fine.

That might be well and fine where you live but I do not think I have ever seen a guy with a pink phone!

My politically correctness is worn out so you will have to excuse me.

That has exactly zero to do with political correctness - lord, that term is horribly overused and tiresome - and everything to do with reality. Perhaps you haven't seen any with a pink phone yet because so far no phones have been released in pink. At least none of the popular flagships that I know of.

As far as I remember, there've been quite a few people, men and women, on this very forum that have stated their interest for the pink version. They must have all been Germans.

My experience is that it takes around two months for store stock to stabilize after a release. Before that, you are having to call around to check stock and then race down there before they sell out.

Lol! Actually I can't recall seeing anyone with pink phones or cases recently.
Donald, is that you?:p image.jpg

Yes that was definitely the case last year. And I remember when gold IPhones first came out they were impossible to find for quite a few months, which prompted Conan O'Brien to do a skit about it.

I guess that's bad news for me because I am pretty sure I want a pink/rose gold iPhone this time around. Unless the new space grey is close to black...and if it is, that's going to be popular, too, and may also be hard to get.

I would wait for at least the 2nd week...make sure this release is not a public beta thats never been tried....you know, like then bendgate issue last year

I recall seeing a re-tweet (can't recall the original source) where someone said something along the lines of, every time someone uses the term "political correctness" just replace it in your mind with "treating everyone with respect" since that's all political correctness is. It really allows you to see remarks like Trump's in a different light.

I wait a long time with my iphone 5s, if there is chance in 2nd week of release, I'll be excited!!! coquegsm

For the iPhone 6, I walked in the Apple store the second day after release and bought 2 iPhone 6.

Ahhh Canada.

Same for me in Italy.
I always avoid day one (is a week after the release date in the US) because there are too many people waiting in line.
Last year on day two I had to wait less than 30 minutes (I got there some minutes before opening time and there were about 10 people in line).

With the 5s I walked in on the second week and grabbed a gold 32gb. I consider that incredibly lucky. In this area we didn't really have phones easily available until after Christmas. That said, they do get shipments almost every day and they do allow lines. Depends on how bad you want it.
