My wife wants a new iPhone 6 and probably doesn't care much about the color. I think I'll want to get her the 64gb model. How long will it likely be for the stores to have stock of the less desirable size/colors? I'd imagine that 64gb won't be heavily coveted as many people will want the cheapest (16gb) and others will go for 128gb as the "most premium" non + model.

I think the 64GB versions will be in high demand this time around. The upgrade fee for them is just $100 compared to $200 last year.

She'll end up getting an otterbox since we have a 6 and 3 year old so color really doesn't matter at all. Hoping that some are available if not this weekend sometime next week. Might be wishful thinking.

What are the least desired models?

No that's incorrect. You'll find plenty of 16GB versions. The 64GB would be difficult to find. Especially in Space Gray. If you're interested, someone made a poll to get an idea of the demand and people's preferences and posted it on Reddit. This was from about a week ago. He said he'll update soon with more detailed data but so far nothing. However, I'm pretty sure the results won't be drastically different.

Anything that's gold or 16GB is gonna be the least desired I believe. People are bummed these new phones have a 16gb capacity so no one really wants them and the whole gold thing is just not what most people want aesthetically. I don't think either of them are that big an issue but they'll be your best bets.

Do you even cloud storage bro?

If you immediately move pics, videos and don't keep or own a lot of music, you can easily get by with 16GB

Yup yup. I Had a 16GB 5S and only used 7GB's. All apps. My music is in Spotify and my pics are uploaded to Instagram and then deleted. Granted I might take 100 pics a year

I got a 16gb iP6+ but, I do have an iPod touch for my music and iPad Air for my pics/vids. If not I would have gotten a 128gb iP6.

With Spotify, ITunes radio, Google Driver, iCloud, and Dropbox, 16gb is enough for me, I even have two to three movies around 2 GB on it at a time. It's usually around full, but I can more than get by.

I think you'll find that the easiest phone to find isn't the least desire able, but the one Apple made a lot of. Hope your wife enjoys Space Gray ;)

16gb is totally not enough space if it is, you aren't using your phone properly or for enough.

I lold so hard that you dont even believe me. My iPhone 4 was 16gb, my HTC One M8 has 16gb of internal storage and my iPhone 6 will be 16gb. I've never ran out of space.

You know... Dont install games that eat gb's of your storage. Mobile gaming is horrible experience anyways.

Use spotify or other music streaming apps and make offline playlists in case of travelling somewhere you may not have connection.

It's as easy as that. And you save some money.

if this forum is any indication, then gold is the least favorite color.

64 gb seems to be the most POPULAR size.

Gold iphone 6+ 16Gb. Why? I assume most guys are not into gold color. And most girls won't buy the 6+ because of the size.

The 16GB plus seems like a bad idea to me.

A stupendously stupid and greedy idea from Apple. How can they possibly justify not discontinuing 16MB models in their premium iPhone yet not offering a 32GB option?

Who in their right mind would get a 16GB iPhone 6 Plus? How much space would even be useable? 10-11GB?

Why is 16GB sufficient? My PC in 1995 had a 2GB hard drive. Was that going to be enough forever? Good luck with a 16GB iPhone in 5 years time.

The time will come when iOS alone is more than 16GB.
