Listening to TWiT with an earbud in one ear (hooked through my Scottevest) while I monitor phones in my office as the one shmuck that came in on Black Friday.

Listening back to The Chris Moyles Show from earlier today, reading my Twitter feed, and thinking that I perhaps should be revising instead.

Watching The Big Bang Theory. My new favorite show.

EDIT: Now about to watch the Red Wings/Bruins game!

IM-ing a friend, reflecting on the week and wondering what direction my life is heading.

I'm about to hop in the shower and go have a little breakfast. Maybe catch some college football. Mmmmmm....bacon....

I'm STILL trying to make a nice Christmas Tree in ZBrush (If anyone has pointers please let me know!). I'm about to give up on it for now and go work on another part of the model :p

I'm also playing with my new colored pencils: (Not that I'm any good with them but I'm having fun and thats what counts).

It looks like u just used the move brush 20 times to make spikes. Get a reference and build the form starting at the lowest subdivision level. One you nail the basic form and silhouette move to the next sub to add more detail. You will probably want to add decorations as subtools. The sphere and star shapes should be a good start.

That exactly what I did! I'm bad at ZBrush, I usually only use it to poly paint with so I can make texture maps fast. As tempted as I am to make this in Maya I'm determined to do it in ZBrush and force myself to learn more about it.

Thanks for the tip! :) It wont have ornaments (I'm not that adventurous yet) but I'm hoping to put snow globs on it.

Just finished watching this week's latest episode of Castle, and now I am browsing the internet for Christmas gift ideas.
