Craigslist is good just write "CASH ONLY -- no trades/checks/shipping/paypal" in the listing and ignore the spam emails

I was planning on selling on CL but my cousin wants to buy mine so I'll just sell it to him

to the original poster.

you need to understand a few things.

first, if you sell your phone UNLOCKED you can get way more money for it.

if you sell your phone internationally, unlocked, you will get way more money for it. obviously you must use ebay for this.

craigslist isn't a bad option, but unlock your phone, people with t-mobile will pay more because they can't get the iPhone period.

ALSO shape doesn't matter to too many people (as long as screen is in good shape and all works well) back of the phone does not matter to most because most use cases and that part is covered, I've seen some beat up phones with good screens, unlocked, go for a good amount of money!

yeah i was just on eBay as well and surprised at how much the phones are going for.

i do have a question though... i warn you, it's a stupid question...

if we are selling our current 3gs phone, that we've been using for the last 2 years, is that phone considered UNLOCKED?

AT&T doesnt offer unlock codes for iPhones so your 3GS is still locked to AT&T unless you jailbroke & unlocked it using custom firmwares

Giving a friendly bump since I'd imagine more people are thinking about selling their old iPhone 3GS models.
