The rumours are the house had to be sold or repossessed. Abandoned car from there front garden has just been towed away. Been there around 4 years. But to celebrate my neighbors moving and to keep on thread...

Oh, dear.

Well, yes, the relief when unpleasant neighbours depart is hard to measure at times, isn't it?

ABBA still playing. When my thoughts stray to that group they are of boundless gratitude.

Waterloo is playing. It is the last track on the CD. Must head up and press 'play' to start the CD again at the first track which is "Dancing Queen".

I’m sure that CD must nearly be worn out! I wonder how many times you have played it!

Lunatic Calm
Album: Breaking Point (2002)
Lunatic Calm were an English electronic music group formed in 1996. Despite a wide-ranging sound palette, the group was best known for their high impact, industrial-tinged big beat compositions.
I first found them on the movie soundtrack for the original The Matrix movie. In fact, I found of lot of great artists and albums from that soundtrack that I still enjoy today.

This is the second of their only two albums. Apparently the band broke up shortly after releasing this one which was primarily due to issues with the record label. It's a shame too because I really enjoyed both of the albums, the first being Metropol which had the hit song Leave You Far Behind that was featured in The Matrix.
  1. "Beatbox Burning"
  2. "Sound Of The Revolution"
  3. "Borderliners"
  4. "Neverstop"
  5. "I Go Wild"
  6. "Your future"
  7. "Yesterday"
  8. "Shockwave"
  9. "Liberation Radio"
  10. "Nobody"
  11. "Resurrection City"
  12. "Revolution Rewind"

Countless thousands.

I bought it for her when she was still well (but after my father had died) as she had said she liked ABBA and The Carpenters. (Actually, I bought both for her, but she never really cared for The Carpenters to the same extent).

Initially, we used to play it (or Pink Martini which we both like, or Greek traditional music which we both like, or classical music which I like) while eating dinner. But that is now more than half a decade ago.

She always loved ABBA, so I would play it if she was upset, and it has now become the default background music to her life, and our life. The thing is, she just loves it. All the carers know to put it on if she is grumpy, or if they was to transform her mood - somehow, inexplicably, it lifts her immediately, and she smiles and marks time.

I had the TV on in the background and a commercial was using the original "Let The Good Times Roll" as it's musical background. Hearing that made me think of my favourite cover of the song, so I queued it up. I love Harry Nilsson's version of it.

I think some of my nextgen may have your neighbors' far cousins as their neighbors. I think in their case it's bits of old dirt bikes and pickup trucks will someday mercifully be gone from view. :D I'll save your suggestion for them and hope they get to deploy it in 2019.

For me today it's more pedal to the metal of a sewing machine, finishing up some little holiday gifts. Music for that occasion is usually some playlist of stuff that is Baroque and brisk to keep me from daydreaming. At the moment, J.S. Bach's 6th Brandenburg Concerto. After that more Bach: Martha Argerich playing the Toccata in c minor.

Forgot how good Agnetha’s album "A" was that came out a few yrs ago.

[doublepost=1544231529][/doublepost]And Céline has a new English album in progress too I heard, yes!
