What are you listening to? Part III

Seeing these guys live for the first time next week. Really excited after for one reason or another missing their previous performances here, and having listened to them since the early nineties.

Jay & The Americans "Come a little bit closer" from Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Both movies had amazing soundtracks.

A wonderful band hailing from Germantown, Maryland. A great mix of rock, blues, even country at times, and what ever else is in there. I've had the pleasure of seeing them live once, and if it's up to me it will happen again. That Neil Fallon sure has some pipes on him, and the rest of the band really doesn't disappoint either. Great stuff all around.

Still listening to this - weeks later - such an awesome track - it's stuck in my head

I can't help commenting it is more Peter Bourke than Lisa Gerrard?
 
Listening to a very special bootleg recording of Bruce Springsteen's "Growing Up" from his performance at the Agora Ballroom from 08/09/1978. This is one of the greatest storytelling versions of this song and is my favourite. Sadly, no Youtube version exists, so...if you want it you gotta download it.
