Some tracks from a 2019 George Winston solo release, Restless Wind.

Here's his gentle take on Sam Cooke's civil rights era song "A Change is Gonna Come."

I've watched this kid grow up in youtube. She is very talented.

Also another great discovery is Pomplamoose.

And here's the two together.

Ah, thanks! I'd seen Pomplamoose doing "if you think you need some loving" years ago, but couldn't find the song or group by search.

There was a time we used to make our own wine in high school. It tasted nothing like wine, but it was "cost effective" to put it kindly, so it was good enough. Going through a box of CDs I came upon this gem, and certain memories, perhaps better forgotten, started flooding my brain.

Beautiful tune.

@Northern Man: Is it necessary to write all of your musical choices in massive, bolded, screaming capital letters?

It is very annoying - and uncomfortable - to read, and gives the impression that you are yelling or shouting when you post on this thread.

Why not use the standard sized font instead?

Anyway, on topic: I am currently listening to the Adagio in G Minor by Tomaso Albinoni.

You come across as an reasonably intelligent woman in your posts so I am at a loss as to why you think my posts are in “screaming capital letters”. I use a capital letter at the beginning of a word where I feel appropriate.

You seem to get annoyed and in an uncomfortable state quite easily. You may wish to look into that unenviable condition.

Your posts in the music thread are written in large bolded capitals; visually, it is exceedingly unpleasant and comes across as the written equivalent of shouting. Loudly.

You might want to make your posts more pleasant to read.
