Not nighttime here in Seattle. In actuality, listening to (and watching) live versions of songs is actually better. Some examples:

1. With or Without You - U2:

2. Don't Stop Believing - Journey:

That is one with Arnel Pineda. My wife and I saw them in concert back in 2010. Great show!

3. Take It On The Run - Speedwagon:

4. Under Pressure - Queen:

This one has David Bowie in it also.

5. Baby Blue - Badfinger:

I just love the guitar tone on this song - Gibson SG's 👍 - Baby Blue was the very first "record" i ever bought - my mom gave me some money to buy it lol - when I was 12 or so - it was a 45' and had to get the adaptor thing - lol

Then I had to take it home and fight with my 2 sisters for turn table time - because they had thier new favorite record "Theme from Shaft" and they thought my purchase was "Boring" 😕

Baby Blue 🎸🎸👍

Derek and the Dominos: Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs (1970)

The double album showcases Clapton's talent along with some mighty fine dueling lead and slide from Duane Allman on most of the tracks.

Duane Allman gone way too soon. "Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad" -- indeed, indeed.

For aficionados, catch the sorting out of who was who on some of those tracks:

Sheer class - a stunning timeless track and a simply terrific group.

I remember when I first heard that song - I thought it so impossibly cool.

Great choice.

Another brilliant song that brings back memories; I have both of these on my computer's iTunes, and on my trusty mp3 player - they both deserve a listen later tonight.
